What in the fuck are you talking about? He came in too hot?

On a landing?

Fuck you.

Ok color me clueless, did the pilot die or not? From the pics it looks like the crash was survivable. Just another case of pilot error. Tow it off to the scrap heap, why waste more Federal buck trying to maintain an obsolete Jet?

The US Air Force is just a giant boonedoggle. I can hardly wait, we need another generation of aircraft to waste money on, so we can burn women, children, and entire villages to the ground in name of freedom.

Put me on the group W bench on that point. I am eco friendly, I recycle my aluminum cans, lets do the same with our military aircraft.

You're in favor of long range missiles instead?

I would love to live in a liberal utopia like you...where we have no enemies in the world, other than the ones we bring on ourselves.

If he was the mid 20th century, and there were message boards...he would be posting.. "Well, the US really has no right on an Island half way between the mainland and Japan. I can understand why the Japanese attacked our Pacific Fleet."

A typical, planned airshow flight maneuver (high AOA low speed pass) with an unexpected engine stall is not the same as a pilot trying to show off with an extended flare on landing.

I know (pilot in the process actually). It was meant to carry on the joke regarding the CAF.

He came in too hot down the runway on a landing and went off the end into the grass. An airforce pilot I talked to said that he should have ejected but opted to stay in. Nice addition to the resume?:whiste:

I saw pics of this and that was the first thing I wondered, why he didn't eject.

All the viper pilots I know would have ejected as soon as they saw that grass coming up.

F-16 is not known for its stability on rough terrain. 😛
