Is your gym one of those gyms associated with a hospital for retirees who have had a heart attack? LS = RWD Buick.
I'm keeping my Camry as a daily driver forever.
No, it seems like all the 30 somethings like to buy used high end sedans (7, LS, S-Class) and modify them like crazy. These are no grandpas driving them, unless your grandpas got like 20" arms.

I love how we've gone through rice, BMW hate, trolling, fleabag 2.0 and now 20" arms. This thread delivers.

another thread about atot ripping a guy for doing a simple mod to his car lol
Word. Too bad it's not a mid 90s model that's proven, Toyota doesn't make them like they used to. I don't know the track record of the new ones, I just know the 2GR is sweet and it's about time the Camry got some competative power.
Just don't rice it out. Wheels aren't rice, unless they are rice wheels, but I think the biggest OMG WTFBBQCHKN here in this thread is the price of the wheels for a Camry... it's not like you are buying 3 pc forged lightweights for a sports car or something, you're talking $350 each for what are *still* heavy 1 pc cast OEM wheels for a Camry. You can do ALOT better than that.
Those BBS wheels I linked might not be your thing, but that was just a single example of a decent set of aftermarket lightweight alloys for a Camry that are $400 for the *entire set of 4* (I think you'd need 17/18 though for that year Camry for it to look right).
Those are 19's which are different from the 18's you posted earlier. The 18's weigh 22lbs.
22 lbs is pretty heavy for a 7" wide supposedly forged wheel. If they were 9" wide I'd say that was pretty decent. You can get 18x9 and 18x10 wheels that are 22 lbs or less for around the same price as those, and width adds significantly more to weight than diameter. Those can't be forged wheels, unless the fine print says forged center caps or you are confusing "alloy" with "forged". Most OEM alloy wheels are 1 pc castings.
Not that it matters for a Camry. As you said, it's just for looks. And most people worried about saving 3 lbs each on their wheels are at least 20 lbs overweight anyway.

7" wide? I don't think even stock wheels are that narrow anymore.
This is what Lexus says:
18" Forged Alloy Wheels.

Oops I was thinking Camry sizes. You sure a 8 or 9" wheel is going to work on a Camry? Almost positive you'll have rubbing/turning radius issues in the front without rack limiters.

Of course, I run an "recommended for 8" wheels" tire right now (235s) on my 7.5" wheels.
Camrys can accomodate 8.5" wheels up front w/ a 235 tire with up to +35 offset lowered on Coilovers. I'm not close to that low.
