Why dont you guys agree on a common setting that would actually make this benchmark relevant? Like putting everything on max, 4xAA, 8xAF? With those settings, even 10x7 would give all cards a good workout.

4xAA is absolutely pointless for anyone with a 6600GT or below, 2xAA is far more likely to be used (if AA is used at all with those cards)...

Then we should have 2 settings, one with no AA, and other with 4xAA. From my own experience, I cant really tell the difference between 2x and 0x, they both still look jaggy to me.

Certainly in farcry 2xAA makes a good difference i find. Still a little jaggy but far easier on the eye, and still playable in most games with my 6600GT and previously my 9800 pro @1024.

Found some more mirrors:
http://www.fileplanet.com/157279/150000...info/-F.E.A.R.-Demo-%5BMulti-Player%5D
http://www.gamespot.com/promos/2005/feardemo/index.html - gotta register, but it's free

You should be able to get a faster dling from http://www.3dgamers.com as I average out at around 2-3 Mbps using their Public Servers.

Really? You're not worried about the 90nm parts coming out in just a few months?
