Maybe this belongs here and maybe it doesn't but I figure it's worth a shot.

Roughly 2 weeks ago I was pulling an all nighter studying for a VERY important accounting exam. Other than the stress on me to do well I also drank 3 redbulls in less than 5 hours. Well, I noticed that my left eye began this sort of pulsing twitch which I think is located in the upper eyelid. This has been on and off for 2 weeks now and I am starting to wonder what is going on, I looked online but there are multiple explanations. I'm thinking it might be stress/eyestrain due to looking at monitors and TVs frequently but I find it funny that this just sort of... happened that one night. Any ideas?

how much sleep are you getting?

how much caffeine/energy type drinks are you taking in?

Sometimes I'll have the same sort of problem if I don't get enough sleep and try to compensate with caffeine. I'm sure staring at the screen all day doesn't help either. Maybe taking breaks would be a good idea also.

Caffeine will give you all sorts of twitches, especially if you drink copious amounts of it. On top of lack of sleep and staring at object for hours on end frequently, it seems like your hypothesis of a sort of strain is plausible. The night of caffeine may have stressed things enough to start it and the continual strain/lack of rest for it keeps it around. Quit the caffeine, get a good night's sleep, take breaks from the computer, etc for a week. See how that helps. If it bugs you enough, go to the doctor.

Well I am getting 10 hours of sleep a night at the moment since the semester is over and I have too much time on my hands. As for the caffeine I always had it sparingly but recently I have avoided it all together. I guess the only thing I could be doing wrong is watching too much TV or playing too much Fallout on the computer  But even then that's only 2-3 hours a day. The only other thing I could think of is the fact that I do a lot of night driving and tend to pay very close attention to the roads because of the amount of deer where I live.

Do you consider this a potentially serious problem? The twitch/pulse itself doesn't bother me because it doesn't impede my vision but the duration is what concerns me. 2 weeks? Sort of scary!
