Yeah just linear extrapolation based on what is known about specifications, without the improvements mentioned:

We'll have to wait and see where it actually lands. Soon, very soon 😀

would be interesting to know if its the Pro they can go agaisnt the Titanx and the fury x is a stand alone Halo above anything else.

Heh i find it funny that their performance estimate assumes two things:

1. No uarch improvements
2. No advantage of new memory & subsystem

Just on raw increase from R290X... it ends up faster than Titan X already.

But you can't expect a perfect linear increase when you increase clock speed and number of shaders.

Surely Fiji will be the fastest GPU in the world.........

In double precision. Its gonna stomp the Titan x and 980ti. Nvidia sacrifices DP, I am pretty sure AMD did not gimp it nearly as far. If they gimped it at all

Heh what would it matter to you.you would never buy the card.

Arguing about these rumors is a waste of time IMO. It's far more productive to just wait for actual benchmarks.
how/where else are they going to crap on the gpu if not here :awe: got to put it down!!! got to kill it with as much negativity as possible!!! they must try at least.:\

I'm sure Russian posted something similar already lol.

Accurate? Would anyone take a certain bench as the gospel? And if they did who would be the source?

You don't worry about any of that.

No one knows it's accurate until later.

You just leak it and don't say anything about it.

The purpose is to make buyers wonder whether should buy the other guy's card right now, or wait.

It's simply buyer bait. 😀
