Every time he declared the media the "enemy of the people," and tolerated or even encouraged violence against the media; every time he remained fixated on Clinton and Obama as scapegoats; every time he hurled a childish insult at Maxine Waters or Robert DeNiro; every time he tolerated George Soros conspiracy theories that falsely claimed the left was orchestrating fake protests or voter fraud.

Instead of constantly passing the buck like you always do, accept the truth that Trump's antagonizing rhetoric pushes fringe people to commit acts like this, and that one of the solutions would be for Trump to actually, you know, respect people who don't immediately fawn over him.

And then the media came out and corrected itself. A credible news organization is not one that never gets things wrong, it's one that acknowledges its mistakes and fixes them.
