they just said that it looks like it wasn't an attack, but maybe something like a boiler exploded.

they are also reporting that nothing has collapsed...

They are currently interviewing a student of Apex(obviously not a selective school).

The guy first says "There was an explosion in the Apex school"

Then he says "...it was in the next door."

It was most likely an accident. There was a similar thing that happned in downtown Chicago couple of months ago. Some explosion on a gas tank on the 7th floor of a building. Luckily they put out the fire before it could to too much damage. Hope everyone is ok

NEW YORK (CNN) -- At least 21 people were hurt by what police and fire officials described as an explosion Thursday at an eight-story technical school in Manhattan.

The incident happened at Apex Technical School in the Chelsea neighborhood.

Streets in the area around 19th Street and Sixth Avenue were closed to traffic.

At least 21 people, some with cuts visible, were being treated at the scene.

Police, fire and rescue units responded to the blast, and some rubble was visible on the street. But no fire or smoke was evident.

More than 100 firefighters were on the scene, fire officials said.

Will everyone please TADBAR! It was a damn boiler explosion. There are no Middle East operatives involved, the Israeli's haven't done anything, the Italian's haven't torched the place, Al Sharpton and his band of media whores aren't behind this, either.
