Explosion in Downtown NYC

I have a close friend at CNN. She says there is no evidence yet of an explosion.
 
All of 7th avenue close to the incident is being closed.:Q Part of eight story building has collapsed.
 
WCBS reporting the school teaches automotive service and repair. Firefighters apparently trying to reach the roof.
 
"NEW YORK (CNN) -- A number of people were injured by what police and fire officials described as either an explosion or a building collapse Thursday at a technical school in Manhattan.

The incident happened at Apex Technical School in the Chelsea neighborhood.

No other details were immediately available. "

The tech. school(Apex) just informed Fox News that it was not their building. Interesting thing was that the school was in the middle of a fire drill when it happened.
