Explain to me why does anyone need more than 1 gun?

If a gun is for self defense then you shouldn't need more than one, it isn't like you should fire more than one at a time. I fail to see how a law restricting people to a single gun would violate the 2nd amendment given you would be allowed to own a gun.

If you are really this into repressive totalitarian governments I suggest moving to North Korea, I hear it's nice this time of year.

the great thing about the Constitution is I don't have to explain it to you and you don't have the right to require "need" as a requisite for me to own as many guns as I want. Isn't Liberty awesome?

Please a gun isn't a necessity, its sole purpose is to maim and murder. So many of you have enough guns to massacre who schools full of children, really sickening that someone would have so many weapons of mass murder.

Your life isn't anymore a necessity to me as my guns are to you. How about this... I'll give up my guns if you give up your life.

Your arrogance to determine what other people need sickens me.

I hope you are trolling.

~ EDIT ~

I'll give you an example of why I need at least two rifles.

A few weeks ago a mangy looking stray dog showed up at my house. He was not not acting very friendly, and was working his way over to my chicken yard. What was I supposed to do?

And, my neighbor across the street has a couple of young children who play in the front yard.

The county does not have an animal control officer.

What would you do? Run the risk of this stray dog killing your livestock, or attacking a child? Or would you protect your property?

Is a gun really necessary on a dog. Can't you use a stick or something else.

Not trolling, if you can explain why someone needs 3 hand guns, 4 assault rifles, and a shot gun I will listen. I just do not see why it should be legal.

Are you serious?

You really want to be within biting range of a mangy stray dog?

You must not have very much experience living in a rural area? Besides stray dogs there are coyotes, skunks, raccoons,,,, and other animals that carry rabies.

Go chase a rabid skunk out of your yard with a stick. I dont see that happening anytime soon.

We've lost cattle to people's stray dogs. Feral pitpulls are fucking scary. So yeah, I'll use my big ole mean scary rifle to kill that POS from as far away as my aim will allow.

Many conservatives here don't see things either and even when explained. You are on no importance. You don't get to base the actions or purchases of others on your understanding. The answer to your question will come with bigger feet.

Why do you need 5 TVs or 3 computers or 2 cars? You collect video games or stamps you say? Well you can only have one, sorry.

I was happy with what I had but now I have dozens more rifles and a hundred new magazines, and the only reason I needd them is because someone said I can't have them.

Why do I need 2 assault rifles? Well for starters, an AR15 isn't the same as a AK47, so that's two, then nether of them are a M1A or a G3, so that's four. Multiple AR15s, one 20" full length fixed rifle with carry handle, one a M4 style flat top and custom furniture, I might get another because I might want a FDE (tan color) one, also looking of another AK in a Arsenal Inc milled receiver variety, need me to continue?

Would you like to know why people need a semi-automatic rifle, such as an AR-15?

Dogs like to run in packs. Pack of coyotes chasing your cows, goats, chickens, children,,, the 223 Remington in the AR platform has little recoil which makes for fast follow up shots.

Want to make sure not a single coyote makes it off your property alive? Use an AR-15.

Packs of pitbulls and shepherd mixes are even more fun. D:

Why do you need more than one car? Computer? Suit? Knife?

The answer is that each tool has its own function. Even if it seems redundant to the ley man.

But honestly, why are we placing limits on everything?

Some people just can't be happy in life unless they're trying to dominate and control others.

I may be willing to allow for two guns if the second is solely for hunting, but it should be limited to 2 or 3 rounds at most.

No one gives a shit what "you" are "willing to allow". You don't make decisions for others for you little wannabe fascist.
