Exactly what are you trying to do? Trying to just use EMC on the Exchange server or uninstall it?

Just trying to use the EMC. I was going to try and uninstall and reinstall it and see if that fixed the error.

I didnt do any of the command line operations to prepare schema or prepare domain. So I was thinking I needed to uninstall

The schema changes are necessary for Exchange to work properly. Incorrect system time can also give the access denied error in the first screen shot. You would be better off blowing it away and starting over.

System Time is correct

alright how do I deal with the two errors above it gives me when trying to uninstall

Give some more info:

What else is running on the machine where you installed Exchange?
Is Active Directory running on this machine or another?
Is this a production enviornment or a test enviornment?

OS windows server 2008 r2 enterprise

production environment

active directory is on the machine

DHCP Server
DNS server
RRAS server


A couple of third party apps
American Contractor
Symantec Protection Center

No I have a couple here, This is our new server I just finished setting up and exchange was the last thing to get installed

I hate to say it, but I think at this point it would be easier to start over. Something is really borked on that installation.

so theres no way to delete those mail boxes any other way? Where are they Stored?. Why doesnt exchange run those pre-requites commands itself?

what if i were to run powershell from a system account with pstool's psexec. would that might let me in and get me pass the access is denied?
