Gotta love people who respect women. I normally...well to be honest I would NEVER get involved though in a domestic dispute I have no involvement in (I.E., if I don't know any of the parties) That lady could have been a crack whore thief for all I know.

He's got some balls to go in like a knight defending a woman's honor like that. He obviously knows how to kick some ass, I would be worried about getting shanked w/ a dirty knife or shot.

The most intelligent thing to do is to not get involved. Not to derail this thread but I hear the same comments sometimes about people who have CCW permits, they think they are "carrying to protect others and not themselves"

really? Protect others? Permit to carry should be DENIED.

There are alot of cases out there where a armed citizen with eager intent to help a victim ended up killing the innocent party. Shot that "biker dude" who held up that chick or old man at gunpoint? SOunds like a great story until you find out that guy was an undercover DEA agent or cop.

Each situation can be different so to each their own, but if you plan on acting on behalf of strangers, you have to take into account you might be helping out the wrong party.

(I'm not talking specifically about this guy who in this case who was obviously wrong, big @#% dude punching a girl in the back of the head )

You should only fight someone to protect you or a loved one who is with you from immediate danger. If you choose to defend yourself and ultimately kill someone, you can sure bet you have a good chance to defend yourself in Civil Court which is why you need to be afraid.

Kill a guy who maybe shouldn't have died? Say goodbye to all your hard work as a good person.

Roger is very very very fortunate this incident was caught on tape and it doesn't show who threw the first punch, there is a good chance he could easily win a civil litigation suit if this guy ends up dying or in the hospital due to the trauma received.

lol, fuck "coward"

I'm living to help myself and my loved ones, people I don't know can fuck off! I'm not going to jail or losing my life and future earnings over someone I don't know.

Save that for the cops and military, they are legally protected for that.

Oh, the fair just began, and some pedophile tried to snatch a 5 year old boy.

Needless to say, he got the shit kicked out of him, and no one is in trouble, and he's probably getting charged.

I like it when things work out like that. Though the disgusting fuck should have just killed himself instead.

cops generally won't bother issuing arrests or citations in situations like that, it's sort of the last line of defense for a good samaritan. You can alot of times guarantee that you will not be criminally prosecuted.

The douche who gets beat up though has free reign in civil courts to do whatever he wants and that is such a pain

dude you live a very fearful life.

I am not going to just fucking shoot someone that's in a bar. I am usually just not going to go up to another and hit them.

What I have done is approach a situation and ask what's up...that's usually all that's needed.

In this case the guy totally cold-cocked a chick. It's pretty obvious at that point.

I am not all for never hitting a woman though. I had an ex I had to drop to her knees with a throat chop. She had my ear and wasn't letting go. It was half torn off in the split second I reacted. I have also had a women try and hit me with a 2x4 with nails in it. I stopped the attack but my hands took a major beating.

If one day I get shot for butting in at least I know all the other times I helped.

Cops come by later to pick up pieces of a society you already let go to hell with your cowardice.

I'm a pretty big muscular dude so people never started anything with me...typical cowards/bullies won't ...too dangerous.. best to pick on women and small guys. I never went looking for trouble But Unlike you I have defended little guys and women from thugs and made them think twice before doing it again.

Yeah right. his sheepish cowardice is why you can go many places today and biggest/strongest meanest intimidates everyone else. Law of the jungle.

Every decent person there should have jumped on his ass - since there are more decent than bad - people would straighten up quick. If that kinda retribution was well known in society, woman would have never been hit in the first place.

That is not a sound argument to defend my logical position of staying out of other peoples business.

Again I clearly said it is not a definitive, NEVER help anyone out, but for the most part, you can't go charging in to help david beat goliath every time and every where you encounter it.

I saw these 3 kids (teenagers) beating up on a smaller kid in Brooklyn on my way home one day, I thought about jumping the fence to help break it up after they didn't heed my warning that I would call the cops.

It looked very serious, but turns out they were just playing around. I'm glad I thought twice before getting involved.

Usually all it takes is "hey man, uncool" When i was in HS a lot of jocks picked on Asain kids because they were more diminutive and maybe racial, I was a "jock" too but told my "colleagues" ..Uncool dude and they knocked it off. But in this case, where assault and battery already happened it needed immediate negative reinforcement since that's all guys like that understand. Cops? He'll be out same day with our overcrowded jails... wonder why they are overcrowded.....

Answer: enablers and cowards.

Well I'm not saying be stupid and try and break up LA riots on your own. Nor appraise situation and find out what really going on. I'm talking about stopping real beat downs and bullying instead of walking by which happens all to often.
