Never said I was Christian, no you are putting words in my mouth. I don't see how I've proven your point. I also don't understand why we can't have a real discussion rather than turning to insults or other BS. Oh, actually I do. Because the country is as polarized as it has been since the 60's, maybe moreso. This time we have the Internet, so more people than ever can join in.

So waidaminit...the Trumpets think it's OK to discriminate against those evil mooslims...but are outraged if a Christian claims discrimination?

Personally, I think people have the right to worship (or not) whatever sky fairy they choose...but they don't get to bring it to work unless they work in their church/temple/mosque/forest clearing...wherever their "god" resides. No one has the right to pester other people with/about their beliefs.

It does rather depend on the context...and, most of all, on which country is being talked about. Christians certainly _are_ persecuted in some places.

That said, the story in the link below has come up a few times (I'm surprised the OP hasn't come out with it), and it doesn't do much for the credibility of the 'Christians are victims' line. It gets peddled by both Catholics and Protestants, and it's absurd, based as it is on counting everyone who died in a political and ethnic civil war between Christians in a Christian country.

Western 'we are poor victims' Christians really do those Christians who actually _are_ persecuted no favours with their distortions.

This Christian angle is nonsense. NFL does not stop players from professing their faith and you see it every week during games so let's cut out the fake outrage bullshit. OP should focus his rage against Paul Ryan for being anti-Catholic.
