Ex Dolphins Cheerleader Faced Discrimination For Being Christian

A cheerleader who was with the Miami Dolphins was discriminated against because of her Christianity.

I got told things like, 'You can't mention God,'" Ware said. "I felt like I was walking on eggshells. But yet a football player can publicly announce whatever he believes in whether it's kneeling for political indifference or kneeling because he does have a relation with God and he wants to pray before a game, he has a right to do that."

This is absolutely unacceptable, this woman did nothing wrong except be a Christian. What they did to her because of her religion is reprehensible. Good for her for coming out with the story but the team needs to face punishment from the NFL for what happened.

Perhaps the President could lend her a hand. And some fingers.

So, it would have been different if she were a man but you think it's about religion?

In general NFL cheerleaders are treated like shit and deserve much better than they get.

That being said the article has made absolutely no argument for how she was discriminated against for being Christian.
Yes and being harassed and groped by fans as well. They also are not paid all of that much either.

I wouldn't have thought a christian would shake their ass in front of millions of people but after this last year I have zero positive expectations from any christian. The bar is officially lowered to ground level.

Management and her coworkers simply gotten tired of her trying to convert them over and making a big deal about her still being virgin in her 20's. And just told her to knock it off.

This last year? Seriously? Were you not paying attention for the last 1700 years or so?

I agree there should be no discrimination. But I would also want to know how she handled her faith in that situation. Did she have a "I am better than you" attitude, or try to push her faith on others? Did she criticize how they lived their lives? I am not saying she did any of these, but without knowing the full situation, it is hard to say she did not contribute to the conflict. I grew up in a very strict evangelical church, and still consider myself "religious" but have changed from the strict evangelical attitude to one more of loving, accepting, and trying to help others instead of following a strict set of rules and condemning anyone who does not do the same. I also dont really like people making statements about their virginity. I even believe couples should wait until marriage, but really that is a private issue.

Beautiful Christian women: the biggest victims in America.

Well, right behind Christian white men, of course.

Keep on keepin' on, clown.

meanwhile, the redskins org is ho-ing out their cheerleaders to big donors, but we got to worry about incorruptible being offended because of his sky fairy.

Good for her! I mean if we allow kneeling for shit and "Tebow-ing" than surely she can do her own thing. And the NFL wonders why its ratings have suffered.

Yup. Next time you need to ask someone for help with anything, you better make sure they aren't Christian.

ahahahaha breath ahahahaha

Christians claiming discrimination and persecution can go fuck themselves.

So Christians cannot be discriminated against? Or whites? Why don't you care about the persecution of Christian and women in the Middle East?

I am glad you have your victimhood once again on display....

I don't see what the problem is. Players can take a knee to pray (or mock Tebow), but a cheerleader can't mention anything about her faith? Sounds like equal protection to me.

Those people made their statements public out front and center - this person is simply making a claim. So, until more comes out to support her claim.....
