Evolution is falsifiable according to either criteria, so what difference does it make?

Okay, you can't answer the question. That's fine, no matter

Unfalsifiable ideas are good: they are the lifebood of science. They result in new experiments to test, new discoveries to make, and scientific breakthroughs.

"I answered that question earlier in this thread."

I've been drifting in and out of this thread, so I'll have to back track.

Sorry if you already explained it and I missed it.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/

Of course you missed it. It's right there in the library of evidence already supplied to you that you are refusing to read.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/section4.html

I don't think he's noticed that link yet, I'll post it again just to be sure.

If you understand it so well, explain it to me and stop linking.

As I said earlier, it's not my job to teach adults such simple concepts.

If you were a kid still learning how the world works, sure. However, you're an adult and I know that no matter what I say you're going to ignore anything that doesn't mesh with your convoluted, willful ignorance.

I'm already two steps ahead of you, knowing that there's nothing I can say or do to convince you because you're "one of THOSE people" and continue to prove it with every post.

THAT. Is why you aren't worth the effort to explain it.

What experiments, discoveries, and scientific breakthroughs support the idea that man has a soul? Or that god exists? Or that your bible is anything more than a book of stories?

"One of those people"????

You would have fit in well in Nazi Germany.

Obviously a PhD evolutionary biologists knows more about the topic than I do. I don't think that means I can't have a discussion with him. It's not about "owning" anyone.

No, it's about you playing stupid games on the internet so you can feel good about yourself, having defended your silly beliefs despite an entire planet of evidence to the contrary.

Go ahead. We all know you're full of shit and you're fun to fuck with. Nobody's taking you seriously (who would?); we're just fucking with you because you aren't willing to put forth the effort to get involved in a conversation. You're only here to argue and continue your bigotry.

You're clever figure it out. There's a Nobel Prize waiting for you.

And a conversation to you is sending links?

I knew the moment you posted in here how this conversation would go. Where it would start, what turns it would take, and how it would end up. I was right. I was right about the last thread, too. Fuck, I even called that conversation's path and how long it would take and was perfectly accurate save you getting to the point I said it would 30 minutes earlier than I predicted. You're wonderfully predictable, just like the legion of your ilk who's come before you.

You asked for it, we gave it to you.

You refused to read what you asked for.

You fail.

Again.

And again.

And again.

And a conversation to you is sending links?

You ask a question, people provide a link that answers it, you know this one: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/

You then ignore it, ask the same questions, then the link (http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/) gets provided again for you.

The link (here: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/) is their explanation, if you can't be bothered to even look at it, then why should anyone even bother to explain it to you?

Not only that, but you argue by just regurgitating crap that you find on sites, and then pretend to pass it off as your own thought (which you've proven and even admitted that you're incapable of even thinking about it), and then criticize others for providing a link (http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/) that would explain it easier than them typing out a response (since you apparently want them to teach you everything about it).

For your reference, I suggest checking out these links:

Haha. I find it amusing that both pro- and anti-evolutionists parrot talking points from various websites endlessly, arguing past each other without ever reaching some sort of resolution.

I'm not fucking with anybody. I don't think PJW is full of shit. He's more civil than most everyone else in this thread, and he is very polite via PM in discussing Wisconsin. His biggest mistake is in taking the bait set by a lot of bigoted evolution boosters who wouldn't last a moment in the classroom if they spoke to a skeptical student like they speak anonymously on the internet. :p

Phin, if you're earnestly interested in what a mainline (i.e. not militantly atheist) evolutionist thinks, feel free to PM me. If you're in Madison, let me know. I have a lab full of interesting stuff, haha.

Yeah, I flunked the first rule of debating.

"By far, the majority of people, in general, mean well. If you really believe that they are intentionally being evil - don't waste time in debate with them."

Thanks! I may take you up on that. My daughter and I had a great time in the Physics building last summer playing around with the hands on displays.

This statement is absolutely ass-backwards. Unfalsifiable ideas are scientifically useless.

Fuck's sake, you are stupid.

It's quite simple.

These are the odds that something you claim to exist, in fact, exists. (assuming there is no evidence for or against your claim)

Things that exist (finite) / Things that could exist (infinite) = 0%

Simple, eh? Without any evidence at all, as is the case with god, (unless you plan on providing some) the more correct assumption is to believe it doesn't exist. Be it god or the FSM or anything else.

(Not that disproves anything, it's just a way to understand why the odds say you should reject most ideas if you care about believing more correct things than incorrect things)
