Who else is going to buy The Evil Within 2? Really enjoyed TEW 1 more than I enjoyed RE7. Really excited about TEW 2!
 
Probably will unless it's total crap. Enjoyed the first one. I'm patient though, so won't be until it's sub $20.

Well actually I am going to get it from HRK games its $37 on pre-order.

It comes out October 13th and I am going on a trip around October 21st so I am going to Pre-order soon most likely. I being waiting on this game for a while now. So excited!
 
Never got around to playing the first one myself but I did watch a good amount of 'let's play' content on YT. i think it's even in my Steam library :/

does it play well with a X360 controller? if so I might need to take a break from Dying Light and fire it up.

Don't have a controller so I wouldn't know. I played it with mouse and keyboard.

I really enjoyed the game a lot. Played Dead Island never played Dying Light but have heard great things about it.

The Evil Within is great but that's my own perspective. You might actually not like the game.
 
I'll give it a try at some point but I struggle with KB/mouse and third person.

and yea Dying Light is a muuuuuch better game than Dead Island. The similarities stop after open world + zombies.

Man I am very tempted to get Dying Light. I think I can buy it for $20 is Online still alive? Does it look good on 1080p?
 
yea i run it 4K but it looks fine @ 1080, I occasionally run it on my 55"

if you do get it get the following expansion too... there's still people that play the cooperative online

Oh god it's full price on Steam wth... worth it but you could prob find it cheaper elsewhere. i think i bought it 2016 steam summer sale @ 30 bucks.

I still got PREY and Resident Evil 7 to beat. But I might end up getting this game after. Being tempted by it for a while.

Great game man! Evil Within is way better than Resident Evil in my Opinion. I am so ready for 2 to come out!

If you haven't played Evil Within 1 I recommend it. Be aware its nothing special but I fell in love with it.
 
So what are you guys thoughts on the game so far? I am 5.7 hours in and Just started Chapter 6. They say its like 15 Chapters long!

I think Evil Within 1 was way spookier than 2 but #2 has being pretty fun so far, At least a solid 3.5/5 no lower. While EW1 was solid 4.2/5 Stars I really enjoyed it. Will see when I finish EW2
 
I'm still playing through the first one before I dive into the second.

From the screenshots of the sequel it appears less gritty and macabre but I bought a cheap key so I will certainly play it. Once thing I noticed is that Steam stated that it wasn't optimized for controllers, which is fine, but can anyone provide feedback on how the game works with a mouse/kb?

Works fine with Mouse/Kb for me, no problems so far. I'd agree is not as macabre as the first one. I am about a third into the game so far and its great.

May I ask how much you paid for your copy? I got mine for $32.50

EDIT: Not important but I bought Dying Light the Following enhanced edition for $24 Got it for after I beat The Evil Within 2... love spooky games.

that's a pretty good deal. I think I paid around 40 because I'm a dumb dumb and didn't make use of the sale promo on the 13th. regardless, I'm glad it works well with PC controls because I'll likely play it on Vega now. I may even hold off on replaying Mankind Divided in order to do so. trying to find information on 21:9 support but coming up dry so far...

hoping to finish up the original this week if I have a bit of extra time.

Right on! The Original is Great! But I am starting to like Evil Within 2 a lot as well.

After I finish it I am going to sink some hours into Dying Light. I linked the store above, they have a great price for it right now but its only for 3 or 4 more days
 
dying light is a real blast to play with a friend or two, highly recommend the Following Enhanced edition as well. I have an extra copy for PS4 that I'm looking to offload actually...

Awesome. I rather not post my Steam name on here but was going to ask does Dying Light have Matchmaking or do you have to be with Premade Team with Friends?
