I've been having alot of pain in my joints lately.
My neck, hips, legs, arms, back and wrists have all been hurting me lately. Especially my hips and neck.
I run like 4 miles a day 5-6 days a week. Which isnt too much.
But I have been eating really low calories for a few months now, around 1200 a day.
Could that be causing the problem?
Perhaps the beginning of arthritis?

you answer your own question in your original post ...

you are running 4 miles/day and eating only 1200 calories a day. dude you are taking in WWAAYYY too few calories, no wonder you feel weak. you don't have enough energy to even help you through the friggin day.

do you weigh like 120lbs? that really REALLY is starving yourself, yet alone, you are running 4 miles burning off probably 600 calories doing that itself. that leaves you with 600 calories to burn off the other 23 hours of the day or so... thats not healthy at all.

No, it's not that type of ache. It's like my joints are grinding or something. My neck has been hurting me for about a week. I cannot turn it all the way to the right like I used to be able to.
My hips are starting to hurt when I walk for extended periods of time.
My back hurts when I sit or stand and I have to stretch alot to relieve the tension.

I weigh 130 and I don't feel weak. In fact I feel less tired now that I used to when I ate more.
I dont think my body requires alot of calories.

It's probably due to overtraining. 20-25 miles a week is a decent amount.

Edit: I didn't read the 120 lbs. and 1200 cal. part.

You should have about 3000 calories a day.

1200 is very few, I'm sure your body wants more.
Any particular reason you are only getting 1200?

Edit: Also, check into glucosamine for your joints.

if you are eating 1200 calories a day you are definitely not getting enough protein in your diet. you probably aren't getting enough calcium as well.

both of those will leave you aching, ESPECIALLY if you are running 4 miles, putting all the stress on your knees and joints.

I thought I might be pushing myself too hard.
But I start to feel irritated when I don't run during the day. Like I can feel myself gaining all that fat back.
I have been losing fat and I want to keep doing so.

dude ... if you weigh 130lbs, you have no reason to be losing weight. 130lbs is ridiculously tiny.

that you "feeling the fat gain back" is all in your head. there is no way in hell you can be gaining weight if you are only taking in 1200 calories a day. no way at all.

Bad eating habits and overtraining is quite unhealthy and can cause a lot of physical - emotional problems down the line. If you are that concerned about your image and you are running all the time and not eating, you might want to consider talking to a professional psychologist about this problem. Not posting on ATOT.

I eat three meals a day. They just arent huge fattening meals.

Oh no...lol.
I usually have a protien shake in the morning, lean pocket ultras for lunch, and the same for dinner. Thats about 1000 calories. And then a snack some time at night.
Thats plenty for me.
