If you continue with your current routine you are really going to f*uck up your body. Stop it, now. What you're doing is dangerous. If you don't believe me, go talk to a doctor.

You do understand that your body REQUIRES a set amount of calories for you to LIVE, right? From what I've read the the absolute MINIMUM you body needs is about 1000 calories/day (for a comatose person). Since you are not getting enough energy to sustain your life from food, you're catabolizing tissues and blood proteins. Your body doesn't pick which, just which ever is readily accessible. For example, during and after running, your calorie deprived muscle cells will catabolize each other to get the energy they need to survive. Also, by forcing your body to feed off of itself, you are not allowing it to heal properly and the inflammation process doesn't attenuate as it should - which is likely the cause of the joint pain.
You need to eat more and better, just cutting back the running is a band-aid over a larger problem
Body fat is vital to daily body functions. It cushions the joints and protects the organs, helps regulate body temperature, stores vitamins and helps the body sustain Itself when food Is scarce.
