Hey, I am fixing to buy a new car, really considering this one.
Its a 2002 Mercedes-Benz C230 Coupe, everyone post their opinions on what they think about the look of it and if anyone knows anything about them post that too.

if you're going to spend that much for a car don't get the mb c class.. there's better cars for the same price

I don't see what there is to be jealous about, as it's a relatively inexpensive car. Most will probably buy it just so they can say, "I drive a Mercedes", as the other qualities it has is easily equaled in any other car for less money.

Personally, if you can go a little further, I'd get a BMW 325Ci, or maybe even a Subaru WRX, a certified used Audi A4 2.8 (or even a 1.8T), or something along those lines.
 
Take a look at the Lexus IS300. Sporty yet masculine! LOL! Just kidding. The Benz is nice but for the moolah you'll get more looking elswhere.
 
oh, I wouldnt let anyone's opinion on here effect my decision on the car. I just was wanting to know if anyone actually knew any hardcore facts on it.
 
I would personally not purchase the car because there are a lot better performing cars out there for the money. It depends on what you are going for. There is a new Jaguar X-type coming out that might be a better deal. Drive it, see how you like it.

My dad just ordered one and its gonna be here either this month or next. We took the 3.0 for a spin at dealer. KICKS ASS. For the price of the X-type its a beautiful car. Handles like you would not believe and has the power to back it up.
 
Sorry to say so, but the c-class MB's are really not worth buying aside from being able to say you drive a Benz. You could get a lot more car for the same cash elsewhere. It's your money to spend as you please obviously, but just my 2 beans. I think I'd get a loaded Maxima SE or an Acura TL for that amount....bigger cars with bigger engines for roughly the same price.

I think it's a nice car, but especially with options it is overpriced IMO. I agree with the others who have said there are other cars out there that will give you more for the money.
 
I have to agree with most here. You're better off getting a car of different brand if you really want "bang/buck". Not to mention this particular car just has some sort of a "lacking feel" to it when you get behind the wheel.

I also don't like the fact that the rear end just looks like it was cut-off (reminiscent of the pre 2000 Altima's) in production.

If you want comfort, style and power behind that hood you're better off getting either a 2002 Maxima SE (what i have, and believe me it's an awesome car), an Acura TL/CL-S or even the new Jaguar X-Type (4 wheel drive at that!)

Choose your options wisely. You can get a lot more for your money if you look around.

why not a BMW 3 series? they look like my honda civic from the side... biggest difference is they have way more go-fast and luxury.
