but yet you dont propose any of your own ideas....how insightful of you to be able to criticize without offering alternatives

I was going to post ideas, but then I realised they were general ones that would apply to both women and men, so I was unsure if this would be the right place for them, since the OP seems to think men and women should know how to do different things.

So what. I think it's already been established that not only do we not give a damn how much money you make, but that you're a fool for thinking it's what counts in life. Then again, you're only 22 so it would be stupid to expect much wisdom from you.

Although, Nettles - who is 19 - seems to have you clocked.

Regardless of how much money you claim to make, I already stated that I live comfortably. Nettles said he lives comfortably. "Any" is a relative term.

If you need money to secure your happiness, then you no doubt need every dime of that $140k you claim to make.

That's okay. I'll settle for bending your woman over the hood of your Viper after I show you how to change a flat.

Boasting about your fat income is a sure sign of insecurity. Congrats on your lucrative career. May I suggest you use your first bonus to buy some class?

A real man doesn't have to do this. He knows along with most others with class that salary is just a number and it does NOT reflect the person you are. As for the people who say that are the only ones that don't make any money. I make more than you and I still feel that way.

Very true. Two of the nicest, happiest, most genuine people I know are two married deli owners down the street. They're barely scraping by but people truly enjoy being around them and they're truly happy with one another.

I think it takes a very strong person to focus on what really matters in life.

Despite the money I'm making, I'm actually going back to school to study Criminology and then I'm going to change fields. I will literally be taking a 40% paycut to do something that contributes to society and something that I find rewarding.

And because I married a wonderful woman, she's 110% on-board with it. She's studying to be a teacher.

This started as some sarcastic jabbing back and forth, but now I honestly feel sorry for 3cho. When he crashes, he's going to crash HARD.

It's not sloppy seconds when she bolts after learning (and experiencing) what a real man is capable of ;) .

I have never dissasembled a two stroke engine. So I doubt I could rebuild a two stroke head.

Maybe I should have taken shop in Middle School instead of Orchestra and French. :( I stopped playing the violin and I never use French, but shop would have been useful.

Props to your wife, Teaching is one of the most underpaid and undercredited professions there is, It truly take a special person to do this and do it right.

Yea, I'd like to say I feel sorry for him, but it's not even close.

And by the way, does anyone else notice that he doesn't actually have this job he keeps talking about?

LMAO

It's everything I've been able to do to keep from just calling BS on him, but since I can't disprove it any more than he could prove it, I didn't bother. On top of that, he's grossly missing the entire point.

He's going to hit 30 and want to step in front of a bus. He'll learn soon enough that it won't matter if he's making eleventy billion a year (which he'll sure claim on the Internet) or $20k a year.

I had a friend in college who was always swearing he was about to step into that $200k/year job. The guy talked out of his ass like no one I'd met before him.

He's now 30 and is managing the lumber department at Home Depot.

You better learn how to use a saw, 3cho ;) .

Yea, when I started my CompE degree, it seemed like they were handing out signing bonuses with the diplomas. When I graduated (after the crash), I had to pay my dues. It's not the same situation today, but everyone that I know of that went around mouthing off about the job they were going to get ended up falling flat on their faces working a crappy retail job.

Hopefully, he will get this magical job. That way, maybe he'll join a Country Club and take up tennis or something and decide he's too good for AT. We can only hope.

It depends on whether or not the car dealership ropes in another sucker before he accepts. They sure reeled him in hook, line, and sinker.

I have another to add to the list:

Know how to (and not be ashamed) to tell your kids that you love them.

I never heard it from my old man till I was older, and I tell my kids that I love them several times a day. It makes a difference.

Well, it is a tough decision between that and the "exciting work-from-home opportunity" he heard about in his email the other day... he has a big decision to make. ;)

OK... back on topic before this gets locked up.

I can do most of the things listed except for a couple. I have never used a chain saw but probably could. I have also not rebuilt a 2 stroke motor assuming that is what was being referred to.

Stop buying into the PC crap you get spoonfed by society. Men and women are different and that is to be celebrated not eliminated.
