Everthing seems so futile..

ever stop what you're doing and just realize that everything seems so hopeless? like 'damn, we're all going to be gone one day'. so why worry, work, stress, troll, etc? i am having this feeling right now. i feel so alone. 🙁 /cry

That's life. You can either live life to the fullest, or waste it completely like I did. When I die, I will welcome it. My life has been a total disappointment since I was born. If I didn't wake up tomorrow, I would finally be happy.

Not everyone is afraid of dying. For some it will finally be a release from years of pain.
 
That's why you need to do everything you can to enjoy life. Spend the whole damn thing worrying over the fact that it's going to end and that's pretty hard to do. I'm pretty happy with life right now. I don't need very much to be happy though. A little more sex wouldn't hurt.

And this is why I work hard, so I can play hard and enjoy myself. I work 50 hours a week at a job I mostly enjoy, then on the weekends I get on my motorcycle and ride to the dropzone where I jump out of a plane. Rinse and repeat.

Life is meaningless only when you give up on it.
 
SE, I don't always agree with you, but this thread is pretty accurate. I just don't even bother caring about the future of our race anymore. I live my life for me and me alone. I'll probably make a great CEO someday...
 
You know what's futile? Trying to read that cartoon you posted. Could you provide a lower resolution please I haven't broken in my new electron microscope yet.

Yep, that's what's awesome about our country these days. Buy shit to try and make ourselves feel better without giving any thought about paying for it. How about you figure out stuff to do that doesn't cost you money.

it doesn't cost me anything to play solitaire on my laptop.

I love that hopeless feeling. I find it very liberating. Since nothing matters and everything will end one day, I might as well go ahead and do whatever I want. Push the envelope a bit and see what happens. More drugs, more sex, more partners, more positions. Whee! It's all gonna be over someday anyway.

Thanks for cheering me up, I needed that.
