What happens if you take the metal cover off the AGP video card, and stick the card in a PCI slot?

Why are you trying to stick a knife in your universal cereal port? Usually people use a spoon and put milk in there first!

yeah!

OK, just tried. Absolutely nothing happened. So, I unplugged the power cable to the HD while the system was booted. Windows itself didn't freeze until I tried to run a program. After a few seconds I plugged the hard drive in and - holey crap, the application loaded! It seems HDs are semi-hot-pluggable...who knew?

When I was like, 12, the solder on the spot where the cable cord connects to the TV broke on my big bad 13 inch TV. Well, I opened the case to try and fix it, and I saw the big red wire with the big suction cup thingy connected to the tube and thought it would be fun take it off with my bare hands.

I started playing with it, it knocked the hell out of me, I casually set the TV down, and laid down on the floor for about an hour before I felt I could get up.

The next day I did it again.

I seem to get electrocuted once every month or so. There was the shop-vac incident where it had sprayed water into the electrical portion of it, and I went to empty it with the top soaking wet. I touched it about 10 times before I realized what was going on.

Man I was a stupid kid.
