Ever put something on your car roof and drove off?

Back in high school, on the last day of school, I saw some chick put her yearbook on the roof and drove off never knowing. The thing was trashed by kids in the parking lot (driving over it).

i took my watch off and placed it on the roof of my car and forgot to put it back on and lost it

it was only a fossil watch so not a huge loss

Yup and it has happened quite a few times since i always play bball in my driveway. I lost 1 watch(found it few days later) and in another instance it happened with my wallet and I manged to find my library card and my liscene in the neighbors lawn.

I saw some lady driving around with her purse on the roof about a year ago. I honked and tried to tell her, but I guess she assumed I was going all road rage on her and refused to look over at me.

Her loss.

A coworker. He had jumped onto the back of my dad's station wagon because he had forgotten something inside. I drove about 100 yards before I heard him kicking the roof.

I went to this Mexican food place and had to get a box for my left overs. I set the box on the roof and somehow forgot about it. I proceeded home...

This 30 minute drive home consisited of about 10 minutes of freeway driving going 80 mph. The rest was just street traffic.

I get home, get out and the first thing I see is the white box sitting there content as can be.

yeah 2 of those big books full of cd's one time... these people were trying to flag me down to tell me, but i thought they were trying to start something so I was flipping them the bird. Then at the stoplight they rolled down their window and i was like "wtf?" and they told be me that they saw 2 cd books fly off the roof. I didnt feel bad though... they were driving a minivan. I actually got the cds back too.

Yep, a bunch of souvenirs/gifts from Mexicali. Drove all the way to Connecticut thinking I'd have a big surprise for my family.

I was the only one surprised.

My car's ashtray... A police officer who knew I was a big head had pulled me over and asked if he could poke around in it, I had nothing to hide so I let him. He even reminded me to put it back in the car before driving off... but I really was a big head and I forgot
