I like you have lots of gay people, but gays are like any other group, eventually the majority gets sick of them throwing it in their faces, and that lattitude of understanding that they once had is gone because of it.

I've had it up to my neck with some of this sh!t.

How many gay people do you know? Most of the ones I know (or at least respect and talk to) don't flaunt their sexuality everywhere they go.

I think it is a matter of maturity really. Straight people who flaunt their sexual exploits are just as annoying IMO.

Again, please explain how his post was "flaunting" any more than the heterosexual posts in this thread?

Again, Amused, I am not saying that aidanjm was flaunting his sexuality at all. I am writing in response to RyanSengara's post. If you took a little time to calm down a little and read my posts, you will see that I don't have a problem at all with aidanjm at all.

Stop reading into my posts and pulling out a few words and getting pissy about it. I am not the one making a big deal out of the sexual orientation "issue" (if there is a real issue). It is you, as well as all of the homophobes here.

Cool, but don't deny there is an issue. This thread alone more than proves that, not to mention all the other threads with rampant anti-gay bias.

Why are you taking this so seriously? Gay or Straight, some of us, people, including Gays, take issue at the way people put it in your face all the time. Don't you get that? I do not walk through town saying "I have a penis, and I only use it on a woman". Why would I have to? Why should anyone need to make such statements? I don't care what a person's sexual orientation is. When you put your agenda in my face, I begin to care, and begin to get offended.

I made out with the younger sister of my first room mate (the room mate was a girl) in the rain. We were all drinking, I stepped outside to load some climbing gear into my car so I wouldn't have to do it in the morning, the sister followed me. On the way back she pushed me up against the soaking wet wall of the apartment building and we made out for awhile. She ended up in my bed that night.

Of course, this was all 2 weeks into the lease, and made for a somewhat awkward first few months living with the room mate (I was 19, the room mate was 21, the sister was 17).

I am guessing your roommate found out. ;) :p

Man, if I was your roommate I would have been really, REALLY pissed off. ;) But I tend to be overprotective of my friends and especially overprotective of my family and close friends.

**EDIT**
I am probably goign to be the father who cleans and oils his shotgun when a guy comes a courting my daughter if I have a daughter. ;)

If I have a son, I am going to make sure he knows how to treat a lady like a lady. :) If he doesn't, he won't be dating till he gets out on his own. If he figures how to be a gentleman, I will be the first one to send him off on his date with a smile.

Yeah the room mate found out, but wasn't too pissed about it. I think she blamed it more on her sister than me. Still, I toed the line for awhile to stay out of trouble :)

Yeah this is true. We went climbing in Boulder the next day, she could've dropped me... if it was a guy, he very well might have :p

She was the only person I trusted to lead belay me, none of my other friends at the time had been outside of a gym with me, so it was her or nothing.

Plus I probably wasn't thinking too straight that soon after it happened.
