d/l it, unless it full of fx and the camcorder d/l doesnt do the movie justice. (like pixar flicks)

I don't give damn to what others think....I have been to movies (2 of them) by myself.

While I was visiting St Louis (on work), I was by myself (my boss took off on his own), so I visited very classy restaurant by myself.

I like to enjoy my company...if you can't be with yourself, how can anybody want to be around you?

yea don't go by yourself. it sucks 🙁

i have to wait for the dvd :'(

I went and saw V for Vendetta by myself. I really enjoyed being there alone because I didn't have to worry about anyone else.

It's kinda hard to describe, but when I'm with another person I'm worrying about the conversation, keeping pace w/ them, where they are at/ what they think of the movie etc. You don't notice the toll it takes on you mentally until you do the same activity alone.

When I went by myself, I felt a lot more free to enjoy the flik (and I DID enjoy it a lot)

I'll never understand why people stigmatize going to a movie by yourself as socially immoral or a waste of time or some crap.. I prefer going by myself, I'm not there to chit-chat with my friends unless it's a comedy I care nothing about understanding, I'm there to watch and pay attention to the movie and enjoy it as much as possible. Without friends, I can move around the theater easily to avoid people talking or little distractions like some loser leaving his blinking bluetooth headset on at the last one I was at. So why do you need to be with friends to see a movie? I just don't get how insecure people can be.

Stop talking during the movie :|

I've gone to see documentaries and foreign films by myself, mostly because my friends are idiots and only want to see crap-ass movies in theaters. There's only something wrong with going alone if YOU have a problem going alone. No one is going to look at you weird. If you want to go, then you should go!

I just saw x-men by myself. It was fun. Since no one there knows you (most likely), you don't have to deal with someone else's useless commentary throughout the movie. I'd RATHER go see a movie that I'm interested in by myself. If it's something I'm just not interested in then I would be more likely to see it with someone else.

I saw Kill Bill 2 alone. Actually, I was the only one in the theater 😛

If you can't go see a movie alone you are insecure.

I've done it. It's fine if you just want to watch the movie. It's depressing if you want to make out or talk to somebody.

I saw Howl's Moving Castle in Japan by myself.
Wife was getting her hair done in Roppongi and I had nothing else to do...
When to the Toho theater in Roppongi Hills and sat in the premium theater with leather recliners. It was cool... That was two years ago...

Last week, we did the same thing.
She was getting her hair done, so I went to see a movie at the same place... LOL.
Saw Good Night and Good Luck. (English with Japanese Subs...)

Not at night, 'cause that would be weird being there alone w/ everybody else in pairs or groups. I like going by myself during the 1st show in the morning. It's cheaper, it's quieter, and people don't care if you watch multiple movies in the day time.

I've done it a few times, when I have some time to kill and I'm near a theater playing something I wanted to see but the wife didn't. *shrug* It was alright.
