They knew you were cheating on your username.

It seems quite a few businesses don't know what websites offer. The shipping label you can print out here and get free delivery confirmation - there's 5 post offices within 15 miles of me. 2 of them had ever seen it before, 2 of them took my word for it that it was free (after the system refused to accept the numbers), and 1 refused to do it for free, and insisted that I was wrong that it was free. I had to print out a sample page, with the bottom part attached yet where it says twice I believe, "free of charge." The next time I was at that post office, it was a different person - she'd not seen that label either and insisted that I be charged a fee for it.
That was off of the postal service's own website, and their offices/employees aren't told about it.
There really is inadequate communication inside the multiple levels and divisions of corporations.

No. You would have to input your master card credit card number to get the printouts of coupons & you can print the coupons only one time for a particular restaurant.

:)

Nope, I just make a scene and blatant threats.

Works 99% of the time, the other 1% of the time they either call the cops and/or 86 you.

Same here. NONE of the USPS employees at my post office know jack about the electronic labels. They always freak out when they see them.

sometimes its worth making a scene.. a place shouldnt make an offer unless they honor it.

A burger king near me says that they honor any burger king coupon or any competitors coupon. I brought in a printed coupon for buy one get one free breakfast sandwich from a bk in new york (i live in chicago) that i found online. After a little hassle, the woman accepted the coupon and gave me a stack of new fresh coupons to use and told me never to bring in that new york coupon again. hehe

Lucky you. The one I was talking to was the manager! It was fun though bringing in the sample label with the directions at the bottom - "no charge for delivery confirmation" and the exact URL of the page, and then showing them how to tell their own systems that the online confirmation was being used. :)

I've rarely had a problem with coupons. Only once was I refused and that didn't bother me at all.

Back in my bagel shop does, I know I saw a few coupons that neither me nor the manager had seen. We honored them anyway. Some enterprising photochopper was probably manufacturing discount coupons ;)

I would mention that the shop went OOB a couple years later, but it was probably unrelated ;)
