Ever been in trouble with the law?

I've been watching the Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit marathon all day, so I've got crime on the mind. I'm curious, anyone here ever been in trouble with the law/been arrested? If so, what for? Anything interesting? 😛

I got arrested and spent the night in jail when I was 19 for a trumped up wreckless driving charge. Cop was a total asswipe and even told me that I was ruining his dinner.

got yelled at a couple times when I was in junior high because we used to jump a fence and play by a restricted area around the train tracks, but nothing major.

Trumped charges of "unlawful imprisonment". It basically just a typical argument with angry words and tears from both parties.

State trooper who rang this up wanted to sleep with my girlfriend at the time (Yeah it eventually happened).

The funny part? Because it was such a kangaroo court, the best they could do was make it a trespassing violation instead of dropping it outright. Trespassing in my own apartment

See, the thing here is, you won't get people who committed anything to admit to it. All you're going to get is people like the above who have either a) never been in that much trouble or b) are "innocent".

When I was in high school, me and 4 other guys from the track team used to run to a bridge that went over the train tracks....we then jumped down on the boxcars and ran on top of them...just like in the movies. We only did it twice, but the second time there were two guys with radios that caught us. They weren't able to actually catch us since we were all pretty fast, but needless to say....we ran a little faster that day than usual.

Who me? Nope...wasn't me, I wasn't there...you can't prove a thing...

(Yes. I have a fairly extensive criminal record. No, I'm not gonna elaborate)
misdemeanors and felonies.

I'm with Boomer.

No felony convictions, but it's like my Mom told me......."You're a really nice guy, but you've got some bad habits".

So far no, but with my love of exploring abandoned buildings, I may get a trespassing charge sometime.

Hey !! Wait up for me !!!
😎 whistleing nonchalantly, hands in pockets, casually glancing about looking for "tails", strolls calmly to the end of the thread and exits, without confirming or denying anything.

Never been charged other then a few small traffic violations, all of which were dropped or disappeared after court supervision.

That's badass.

I got arrested and sent to jail four or five summers ago (was bailed out before I got to sit in a cell though) with a charge of possession of the reefer which eventually got knocked down to usage.

One close call is when I had about a half gram of smoke in a bag in my pocket and the cop searching me did not find it. And the bag wasn't hidden or anything, just in my pants pocket as normal. Good, those fucking cops suck. I would've went to jail if he found it. Before he searched me, he asked me if I had anything, and knowing he would find it instantly, I pulled out the dangler scale I had. He asks, "you sell the stuff too?!", and I told him no, which was the truth; I don't know why I had that fucking scale with me anyway (actually I do, young and stupid back then). But just possession of the scale wasn't any charge, so I got out of there and puffed that little bit I had!

Geez...youse guys must have lived a sheltered life or sumthin...from the time I was a young teen I was in scrapes with the law...drinking, fighting, that kind of thing...During my 4 years in Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, I had occasion to bump heads with various Shore Patrol and MP's...then for a couple of years after the war I was always getting tossed in the hoosegow for something or another...

Then I met the girl I ended up marrying and I settled down. No more legal scrapes after that. I been a good boy...(sometimes it gets boring as hell, but there's no actual jail time involved with wearing the ball & chain...😀

I accidentally stole a tape measure keychain from Home Depot this weekend. I used it to measure some scrapwood, then forgot it wasn't mine and pocketed it. So I'm technically an outlaw now.

shot him, right? and i'll bet it was in Reno.

I never did understand why, if he shot a man in Reno...how did he end up in Folsom prison? (two separate states) 😉

that college has sure made you smart. 😛

I've been arrested twice, both were underage drinking. One of them was expunged after I paid fines and went through some program, the other was just dropped.
