I feel sorry for your boyfriend. My wife has all of the same crap you do and it fvckin drives me up the walls. She is also the pill poppin queen, and you should see the amount of pills she can gulp down. My advice, get up off your ass and exercise. I made my wife go with me to the gym and exercise and she felt alot better. Now she is in a poor me mood and quit going, so she is hurting and sniveling again. I might sound like an ass about this, but I have been putting up with the sh1t for 9 years, and I am really sick of it! I really hope you can get this in order, if it is not affecting your boyfriend now, it will eventually.
My fiance is very supportive of me. I'm finding out more about the drugs and trying to control as much as I can. I do as much activity as I can. If I do too much, it sends me into a flare up. I bought an elliptical runner from my doctor last year and did 5 minutes. It sent me into a flare-up for a month. I could barely even walk. I feel sorry for your wife. If you had to deal with all this crap, trust me....you'd be singing a different tune. You never know what you'll do until you're in the situation.
When I was younger, I was always judgmental of people who were addicted to other type drugs or smoked pot and whatnot. However, I realized that everyone has their vices. They may be addicted to one thing, and I may be to another. I was hooked on sodas at one point. I'm finding out, too, that it may not be full-blown addiction, but may also be just plain ole dependancy. I know my body is dependant on them to help me get through pain.
rudder - I'm no longer on the Oxycodone.
Jean - I'm going to a pain clinic on Wednesday. We'll see what they have to say. I'm hoping they can help in some way.
