Killed a 6.5 billion isk Orca the other day. Shame all the items don't show up on the KB or we would have gotten on Eve Kill leaderboards.
The tears were delicious. So so delicious.
Orcas are 6.5 B now?

No, 700 million.
The orca contained several billion in sleeper loot, a buzzard, a loki, a tengu, and a proteus, all pimped out and faction fitted. He also had a faction MWD.
Also contained a myriad of of t2 mods, normal mods, ammo and suck.
This was all kept in the ship maintenance bay so it does not show up on the killboard, however the ingame killmail took into account all of the ships making the total to be 6.5 billion isk in losses.
Coming back to EVE after a 2 year break. It's a bit strange, lots seems to have changed but it still feels like the same game.
I sold my old account and am 12 days into my 21 day trial, looks like I'll have frigate 5 and T2 guns by the time my trial ends.
they really shortened down training times to help engage people more, I think you start off with more skill points from the get go as well. at least it seems that way.
Na you still only start with ~50,000sp and they did away with the double skill training speed that they had for a while after they removed learning skills. Last time I started though, I didn't put as much stock into maxing out a ship class and instead wanted to be able to fly everything (poorly) ASAP. I hadn't thought about how quickly I could max the frigate class.
Frigate Class Ships Include
Standard Frigates
Assault Frigates
Interceptors
Covert Ops
Electronic Attack Ships
You will not be maxing out the frigate class in a while.
I think he means Frigate 5, which used to take 8 days without implants/skills/ect it now take about 6 days starting off from scratch. They definitely did something to make skills train faster, like upping the sp/ hour scaling on attributes a little.
hell BS 5 took me 38 days to train -_- but that was back when you could cancel your account and have skills train still 🙂

They removed the learning skills and built them in, meaning a new capsuleer from scratch is training right off the bat like he trained all 11 learning skills to 5 before he was ever "born".
When they did that, they took away the 2X bonus that newbies got for the first 21 days because it would have been too advantageous to get on top of the adjustments.
You still want attribute implants in too, but the learning skill removal definitely helps new capsuleers train stuff faster.
Lol. I don't either, yet I keep my accounts in good standing and training. Haven't played more than an hour or two in a month in more than a year, but I still enjoy hearing the stories and giving advice. I wouldn't mind playing again, but for some reason I don't.I don't play EVE anymore...

Petition that... There is a crash log on your system somewhere under AppData.

For me it's the time commitment. Sitting down and playing EVE (and actually doing more than fiddling with PI) takes a decent sized block of time. Part of the reason I've liked playing through the old Fallout games recently is that I can kill 10 or 15 minutes while waiting for someone and then just save and leave.
