I managed to kill my first Loki on Tuesday, then my first Legion yesterday.
The Loki was just chilling on a moon while his friends were about to set up a POS. I probed him out, and warped to him in an Arazu, then pointed him. My friends came in and mopped him up. There was a Domi there with him, but he was 60 km away, and I wanted to make sure that the Loki was pointed and let the Domi go.

Yesterday, I heard about a small 5 man gang a few jumps away, and since I had just led a small gang to kill a few ships down the chain, I had the active members warp to the gate with me. I wanted to get there quickly, so I jumped us in unscouted, while my scout was still in warp to the gate (he was going to scout the target system). As it turned out the intel was bad, and the gang was already in system with us. I told the gang to burn back to the gate, and I checked d-scan. There were 4 T3's and a Guardian on scan. I had us jump back into Antem, and reapproach the gate, and the 5 ships jumped through at the same time. At that time, we only had 4-5 ships on the gate, so I primaried the Guardian, and made sure that he wasn't able to burn out of range. I also grabbed one of the T3's (a Legion). Surprisingly, the other 3 T3's warped off. I was expecting them to fight, but it turned out they were mission fit. Either way the Legion had a huge buffer, and by the time he died, the 4 of us shooting at him turned into 11 and he went down.

It was a nice 24 hour period, with 2B ISK worth of Strategic Cruisers killed. I just wish I had made sure the 4 of us spread our points better, but I was much more worried about getting that guardian than catching the rest of them, since the T3 resists make the T3 ships nearly invulnerable with logistics support.
