Like any MMO, joining a good, active clan helps to learn and enjoy the game. I'm a director in a PvP corp that is active in low sec Genesis region. If you're new to the game or experienced and want a group that does few formal call to arms, send me a private message here or look me up in game (Myrdin Potter).

Here is an example of the types of fights that happen:

Fleet fight

My corp is new player friendly. All we ask is no trial accounts. If you're a complete newcomer, we'll train you in pvp. We also help with cheap or free ships.

We don't just PvP. There are miners, traders, worm hole explorers and just about everything else in the game.

(for those new to Eve, the Providence region of 0.0 space is controlled by an Alliance called CVA who practice a strange cult-like behaviour called NRDS - or not red don't shoot. My Alliance practices the normal behaviour which is NBSI - not blue shoot it. Providence is actually a decent area to get your feet wet in 0.0 as you're more safe there from the residents than just about any other 0.0 area)

I joined this corp just after getting out of my trial, and they are a good corp to join. I have to say that they are very good a PvP, as I have only seen us lose a battle on a handful of occasions, even when the opponents should have had an advantage.

Uh, yeah. Our FC warped our fleet (which had a large number of sniper bc and bs) to zero at the station in order to camp it...against STEALTH BOMBERS. Can you see where this is going? So of course as soon as we come out of warp we have about 25 bombs launched into our fleet and most of the BS/BC die. I managed to alpha a single stealth bomber during the few second flight time of the bombs. But fear not, I have four replacements sitting in my hangar.

I'm currently channeling my inner carebear in a mining corp called Tri-Empire, based out of Heimatar/Molden Heath (though I'm currently in Khanid). Anyone who's relatively new and interested in the mining/industry side of things is welcome to give us a look in our public channel: channel_z

At some point I'll get back into the 0.0 pvp side of things, but not for a while yet.

haha I was in group of said stealth bombers 🙂 that was an awesome fight 😀 and don't underestimate a group of 50 bombers. prolly one of the most effective skirmishing ships in the game atm

Paxton FC's are utterly retarded when it comes to the use of stealth bombers. They won't even allow them in their gangs. I knew as soon as we were fleet warped we were going to get raped but there was nothing we could do.

Nope. I have 2 orcas; one to boost and aggregate, and one to haul.

I have killmails of popping can flippers from in a retriever. 🙂
