EVE Online Ambulation Expansion = Sex !

Did you guys also see the expansion for the first quarter of next year? Tech 3 looks amazing, so does the new exploration stuff. I wish I still had time and a corp to play with. Been a year or so since I stopped playing. I hear they also removed training while your account was de-activated. Kind of lame.

rumors suck

Ah but this rumor is true. They have disabled what was commonly referred to as "ghosting" ie starting a long skill train that would continue even though you had stopped paying.

I played eve for a good while. It was fun until I actually tried to get into pvp. At that point it because a sit at the gate and wait snore feast that eventually drove me out of the game. I'm not going to pay money to sit in formation for 4-5 hours to maybe kill one badguy.

WTF is CCP thinking?!?!?!?!?!?

It's getting to be finals time, and my accounts are up for renewal in a week and a half. I was planning on lapsing for a month to train battleship V so I wouldn't be tempted to play instead of study. Now I'm seriously considering not renewing either account. What a load of shit. CCP's now claiming it was an 'unintended bug' - that survived five years. Not to mention the ability to train skills on an inactive account just so happened to be mentioned in the new player guide and multiple forum posts over the years.

Judging by the 190 page thread (!) it seems many aren't appreciative of this 'bug' fix.

🙁 somehow I managed to miss this until just now... there goes my carefully laid out EVEmon plan.

That's another thing I hated about EVE - CCP. They're not the only one though. I can't tell you how irritating it is to play a game for years with a "feature" only to have the devs change it after years claiming "that was never intended..."

Bullshit.

But at least CCP realized they're losing money on their pathetic game by letting people do this. I laugh at everybody who has multiple accounts that now can't tag up between them.

LOL, this was suppose to have changed around the time I quit playing eve about 2ish years ago. After all the NOS changes. Supposedly, that was apart of the next big patch after the NOS changes, since everyone was using NOS boats. Nos in this instance isn't refering to a ricer car using nitrous oxide, but instead to the equipment upgrade called Nosferatu.

I personally wouldn't mind the removal of ghosting if they took all the timers needed to train a skill and reduced them by half, or instead set a max cap of a couple weeks instead of literally months for some skills.

Also, if they would allow for queuing up skills to be trained.

Those were my two biggest gripes about the game.

Unless those are changed, me and a few dozen friends who tried and quit EVE won't ever come back.
