I'm always bothered when so many people here use 'evar' instead of 'ever'. It seems like it is the most misspelled word on this forum.

e·nun·ci·ate
v. e·nun·ci·at·ed, e·nun·ci·at·ing, e·nun·ci·ates
v. tr.
1. To pronounce; articulate.
2. To state or set forth precisely or systematically: enunciate a doctrine.
3. To announce; proclaim.
v. intr.
To pronounce words; speak aloud.
The point of the thread is not that it is slang, but that many people think they are spelling it correctly when they use 'evar' instead of 'ever'. Sure some people here claimed it was in reference to Simpsons (which is spoken and not written so how do they know how it is spelled?) but most don't. I just tought it was funny that whenever people misspell a word, they often also don't use proper capital letters.Originally posted by: Krye
Sigh...ok guys, straight from the source.
But they're easier to say than "person who modifies settings in a computer's basic input output system to cause the processor and/or other components to run at a higher frequency than that at which they have been rated to run" and "device which is firmly clamped so as to come into contact with the metallic surface of the core of the processor in order to increase the efficiencey of heat dissipation from said processor.".Originally posted by: ElFenix

I'm glad someone else besides me thinks so. I haven't been a member more than about a month and it has been driving me CRAZY!
