they have no talent, their music has no meaning, they're in it for the money, they are the epitome of bad music (a.k.a. popular music today), and overall they suck.

Fad? Staying power? They've had one album and absolute phenomenal success based off that one album. You can't judge them until they've released actual new material on a second album.

I like them. Most of the songs in their first CD was decent. Hopefully they won't be in the "sophomore slump".

Try Gretchen. Fading is their newest and hottest single.

They have their new album on weed so you can dl it all for free and play each track 3 times to see if you like it.

Overrated. That first song of theirs that got played a lot, the angst-filled one was decent. Then they started to overplay that other one, guess their ballad type song. Anyhow, it was a crappy song. She can't sing as well as people think she can and their music talent just lacks.
Seems to be the typical Infinity and Clear Channel cramming what they want us to hear right down our throats.

most of the songs off of "fallen" aren't as good as the originals. find the originals and listen to them:thumbsup:

Nightwish > Evanescence

This is clearly a man of great taste and wisdom 🙂

I'm anxiously awaiting September 29'th when Nightwish will be paying Stockholm a visit.

Thank God people realize this. Nightwish is infinitely better than Evanescence.. I liked Evanescence a bit in the begining and then after going back and listening to some Nightwish again I can barely stand to listen to Evanescence.

STILL good necessitates a state of being good at some time in the past. And that never existed. So no, they are not STILL good.

Evanescence still rocks. I don't know WTF you people are talking about. All the songs on their CD are good.
And the ones that are not on their CDs are even better. They were about a 6/10 for me after listening to Fallen.. but after hearing their unreleased stuff, they are 9/10.

I still like them... Their stuff that hasnt been released on the radio is so much better than the stuff that was.

New guitarist and now a missing co-songwriter will be their 2nd album. I am hoping Ben Moody's absence won't change their sound.
