Bottom line is that you said that people who are different than the majority should not be recognized as humans.

To me, you're nothing but part of the problem.

You just keep digging yourself into a hole with these statements and proving your discriminatory nature. Supporting human rights issues is not a wrong thing. Obviously you disagree, but most people would disagree with your 17th century beliefs.

ths standard CanOworms response

"I don't care what you did" and "I don't believe you"

it's also very funny when someone starts a thread about racism in the US he doesn't post in these threads

a serious case of denial

Why should anyone believe someone else on the Internet? I can say that I'm a flying donkey (which would make you happy). I know it would give you an easy way out.

I have posted in threads about racism in the US. There aren't any threads to post in about US government sanctioned racist actions against minority groups.

I like posting this: I sometimes wonder what people said to anti-apartheid activists, civil rights activists, slavery abolitionists, etc. I wonder if they followed your path.

It seems that you have a serious case of denying that serious human rights issues are occuring. You just ignore what's happening, the concern of human rights groups, the spread of racist political parties in Europe, the head of the UN blasting Europe over what's happening, etc. That is denial.

I don't believe you

Thanks. Too bad it doesn't mean much in the context of this thread. Personally, I dislike Cheney and Bush. I love how people like your buddy klixxer said that people were equal under apartheid. I think it will be difficult to find anything as appalling as 95% (slovenia) or 18% (france) of an entire population voting for racist policies or parties.

And the fact that you criticize me for bringing up serious human rights issues is interesting.

too bad that you started trolling in this thread because the title of this thread is "EU expands at midnight..."

you arer trolling in EVERY thread where the word Europe appears,

you are not willing to discuss racism because you are racist against Europeans

I already stated in SEVERAL threads that there is a problem with racism in Europe just like there is in the USA and many other countries.

Your big problem when discussing this issue is the fact that when you talk about racism in the USA you are downplaying it and seems to have a ridiculous believe that racism in the USA are the actions of individuals (and that is clearly not the case - see the data I posted) while when you talk about Europeans as pillagers, rapers and child molesters.

You failed to discuss anything about racism in the USA. In other threads I posted data from the US justice dept. about the worrying uprise of racist hate crimes against all kind of minorities in the USA. There were threads about the fact that illegal immigrants entering the USA are just thrown in jail and treated like they are criminals. You just close your eyes and keep on ranting agains Europeans in every thread you can. You are not interested in having a debate, you are only interested in spewing your hatred and you have clearly demonstrated that in many threads

basically you are just a racist troll

I posted in this thread because Slovenia was accepted into the EU and they have serious human rights issues. Someone then criticized Turkey's human rights problems preventing their EU bids, which I said Slovenia had serious human rights issues, too.

Problems in US or Canada are much less so than in Europe. There are European government-sponsored actions that specifically target certain minorities. There are active racist political parties spreading throughout Europe. The head of the UN even blasted Europe about these problems. Seems like an epidemic. 95% of a Slovenia voted against the belief that minorities are people! 18% of France voted for a well-known political racist superstar! Ethnicity-based citizenship? Minority groups are being targetted for being successful. Come on, all these factors are horrendous and are not replicated in the US or Canada to such an extreme! How can people be elected on campaigns with slogans "We are becoming negroes" It's just insane to think that this is normal and OK behavior.

I never say that the US or Canada are perfect, but compared to Europe, they're much different. Just look at what's happening. Europe needs to join the 21st century and realize that minorities are ok, they're not always a problem, and that being different is ok. Look at your buddy klixxer and his statement about how being different is bad and makes you unworthy of being a citizen. People like him are a problem.

This is why I always post my favorite statement to people that like to deflect and ignore the problem: I sometimes wonder what people said to anti-apartheid activists, civil rights activists, slavery abolitionists, etc. I wonder if they followed your path. There are always problems major and minor all over the world. So did apartheid supporters just say what you say? So I guess they weren't ever criticized.

The big problem is that you try to deflect the conversation. For example, look at your own post. If you're talking about serious human rights issues in Europe, such as in this thread, why would someone bring up Japan's problems or another Asian country? They have problems.

Go ahead and start a thread about the US & Canada, but chances are someone already started one if there's a serious problem. Americans are very critical of themselves, unlike certain Europeans who don't want anyone to be critical of them. They just want to hide the problems.

Anyways, I'm not sure how I could be racist against Europeans since European isn't a race. Or are you trying to say that all Europeans are white and that I'm racist against white people? But then that doesn't make sense since not all Europeans are white. Or do you consider the only true Europeans to be white? Either way, it's interesting what it shows about you.

No, the funniest statement of the day is my imitating of you of scanning your passport, driver's license, etc. Or how you dug yourself into a whole by saying I'm racist against Europeans by showing your true bigotry.

That's not even a justification or downplay of issues in the USA.

It's funny how you were going to scan and upload your passport, Mr. Nolf. In fact, I'm still waiting, lol! Frank Nolf, master of sanity!

Meanwhile, even though Turkey has held NATO membership for 52 years, the 'great' Jacques Chirac says that the Turks aren't fit for entry into the EU.

The Turks need to stop killing Kurds, routinely using torture in thier security services, and a whole host of other human rights issues before they can enter the EU.

you must be the most ignorant person I have ever seen.

You must be of Turkish descent.

No, I have Kurdish heritage. But I am Turkish, because I was borned in Turkey (raised elsewhere) and love that country more than any other.

Shall I say "OWNED"? No, I'll keep it up with you. Yes, I am Kurdish, I was born in Turkey, but my parents have Kurdish heritage and I love Turks and Kurds equally. I actually love any human being, maybe that's just me but anyways, please don't throw out ideas about Turks and Kurds when you don't know anything about it. It's a very sensitive issue, but although foreign media tries to change every single fact, Turks and Kurds live together happily. It was the terrorist group PKK (aka Kadek) that tried to take advantage of Kurds, brainwashing them to kill 30,000 Turkish citizens (whether it be Turks or Kurds) over the course of 20 years, so Turkish military didn't have any choice other than killing (during combat of course, if caught alive, they got prisoned) the militants. Please don't tell me this is what U.S., Britain, or any other Western country would not do. I lived all around Europe, and have been living in U.S. for the past decade and I can honestly tell you that although Turkey definetly has a lot to do before EU should even consider them, Turks are not killing Kurdish people.

Also, one last thing, torture is something every nation uses to gather information. You may not see on the paper, or TV, but its there. Heck, U.S. just bypassed torture, went straight to war :p

Outrageously funny. But seriously, the EU encompassing all of Europe will make all Americans see Europe and the Europeans as one people under one flag(even more than before).
Anyway, as for Swedens reaction to this swelling of the union we belong to, a Swedish writer wrote something rather fitting, if somewhat exaggerated:
(translated as precisely as I could):

"We don't give a damn about Europe, we want protective walls against its citizens and we'll be damned if we are going to ruin a nice summer day with some silly election for the EU-parliament. The only thing we want is the cheap alcohol, everything else can go hang."

Anyway, it was meant to describe the unfortunate view of many Swedes, and the author doesn't like it. It's main point is against cheap alcohol travelling from other countries.

Reading the entire article, it makes more sense.
But the "We don't care about Europe" part is hardly exclusive to Sweden, which is the biggest reason I don't think the EU will work.

What does Sweden have in common with France? What does France have in common with Poland? And so forth.
We're not "all Europeans" in the same sense that people in the states in the US are all Americans.

For me, the only country that I feel anything special about, more so than just any country anywhere, is Norway, and they're not even part of the EU.
And maybe to a smaller extent the Baltic states, mostly due to the very positive experiences I've had when working with people from those countries.

But France? Germany? Spain? I neither hate nor like them anymore than I hate/like the US, Japan, or whatever other country.

I guess maybe Belgium and the Czech would be the big exceptions, they both make a load of kickass beer, gotta love that :)

Yes. Obviously you have a poor grasp of the English language. This is pretty obvious from the fact that you couldn't even spell 1 of 2 words of your special insult correctly.

I am a super patriot? Bah, i would rather return to Finland, what do you have more than your bs claims?

Yes, you are a super-patriot. You and FreeGeeks should start a club.

I think human rights is THE issue, something that should be beyond a soldier to ever stamp on, but still US soldiers do it, and why? Because of bad leadership, racism, because the US was built on racism, it was the red fvckers who were savages, then the black fvckers who were slaves, now it is the brown fvckers, good for cannon fodder and invasions without specific purposes or just lies are ok....

And you are calling *US* racists, man, as i told you before, put down that pipe, it is rotting your last brain cell.

I'm not calling all Europeans racists. However, racism is a big problem in Europe compared to US or Canada. I've experienced it first-hand in Europe as well.

Any European that wants to talk about history automatically loses. Considering that Europeans completely slaughtered Native Americans, brought slavery in the first place when they were European colonies, etc. Then let's not forget all the other things like crusades, holocaust, world wars, their adventures all over the globe, slaughter of entire peoples and civilizations for materialistic gain. No one has ever and most likely never will come close to what Europeans did.

We say to anti-apartheid activists, civil rights activists (it has been a LONG time since we had any slaves, i hear there are 24% of the US that wants slaves back though, maybe you should fight that) that we are all equal, we are born equal, an no matter who YOU are, you have a right to get treatment, forget your payment for your cancer treatment, you will get it, even if you cannot pay for it yourself, how about that?

Even the poor are equal to the rich in terms of medical treatment here, how about that?

And you speak of equality, don't make me laugh, if the US is anything it is unequal.

There's no point arguing with you. Look at your own statement. You were probably brought up in a family of hate, so hate is all you know. You'd tell anti-apartheid activists, civil rights activists, etc. that everyone is equal when in South Africa people weren't equal? Or do you actually believe they were somehow equal? This is just getting ridiculous.

Your openly discrimanatory comments are disturbing. However, it is hilarious to watch an open racist try to justify his beliefs yet also try to say that he loves everyone.

People are not equal when citizenship is based on ethnicity. People aren't equal when a minority group is specifically being targetted. Anti-immigrant & racist views are fostered by growing & rabid racist political parties.

There is no point at all arguing with someone who KNOWS what you don't. Now, where in europe is citizenship based on ethnicity? I am Semitic you dumb fvck and i can get a citizenship in any country if i have the ability to pass the language test, christ, you uneducated idiots bore me to death.

In Slovenia, as i have told you before you stupid little man, you are not automatically a citizen because you are there, just like everywhere in the world, you have to pass the tests, i KNOW for a fact that the US has these tests too, if i could only speak russian like the people who won't get citizenship in Slovenia, i would not be able to pass the tests in US either, get it?

The best you can do is twist my words, and you do that well herr canoshit, but it does nothing for your argument.

I mentioned that i am a Semite, my parents escaped the holocaust because of a Swede named Wallenberg put them on a train to Finland, now i am living in Germany, i have tried to fight for what i believe in all my life, and here you come, some young punk from a far away land who read a few articles and you tell me that europe is anti-semitic and racist? You tell ME that i am?

You need to get over yourself and stop believing in everything you read.

Ok, first, for canoshit, 18% for LePen you moron that is a french contender for THEIR precidency, now show me with a link which germas voted for him or 18% in anything, i know you will settle for anything so...

Um, Germans didn't vote for Le Pen. I said that if 18% of your country voted for a racist party, then that's a problem. That doesn't mean 18% of Germans voted for Le Pen. Just like I said if 95% of your country voted against the belief that minorities are people, then that's a problem. That doesn't mean 95% of Germans somehow voted in the Slovenia racist vote.

So, do you agree that since you openly declared your racist beliefs, that you're a racist? Or do you still think that you love and embrace and give flowers to all human beings?

For Ozoned, yeah, bring it on, if it is the wimps in this thread, such as yourself canoshit i can defend my country all by myself.

me is scared

No, you said that 18% of my country voted for a racist scumbag, well, i know you won't ever admit writing it, it was probably some european invading your computer?

Your country would have voted the same, or are you for giving every illegal alien automatic citizenship?

You should be scared if the vote in Slovenia was scary for you, because it would be the same no matter which country you compare it to, and yes, you can include the US and Canada.

Well, at least they didn't treat them like the Israelis treated the Palestinians when Israel was created, 800 000 fled for their lives, but of course, that is just a small thing compared to one election that states that 95% of the Slovenians don't want everyone within their country to have automatic citizenship, they have to know the language.

The REAL problem, not that anyone like canoshit cares about that but i will tell you anyway, is that most of the people who are not citizens won't learn the language and thus, cannot become citizens, it takes a bit of effort from them, students get their citizenship but the older people couldn't care less.

Anywayz, congrats to the new members, from the eastern block into the western world, too bad the Americans hated you then and hates you now. You see, we opposed the US and refused to send troops into Iraq, and now that you are part of EU, Bush will stop seeing you as the NEW europe and hate you too for joining OLD europe.

It's possible that some of the European low cost carriers start flying also now on the new member states so it's possible that you can get some great deals in the future

No, you can't use euros in the new member states because for the moment they didn't join the EMU (European Monetary Union). They will join the EMU in the coming years

probably right
for me since Iceland isnt a part of the EU (the bastards want control over our fishing rights which is no chance in hell they will get) anyway, if I want to go to school in the UK I have to pay I think it was about 1.000.000 isk per year but if Iceland was in the EU then the price would be around 100.000 instead.

Just the ones using the Euro

Slovenia only gave citizenship to people of a certain ethnicity. If you were of a minority, you had to apply. Some had problems and 95% of the population voted that these people aren't even humans. They were not illegal immigrants. They were working there, living there. A lot of Slovenian soldiers were erased. So was a former Miss Slovenia.

Germany itself used to have ethnicity-based rules in its citizenship requirements.

Let's not forget Denmark and their wantig to implement a process where "foreign" people born there have apply for citizenship and be reviewed. How can you be foreign when you're born there? I believe Ireland is talking about this, too.

You've already said that people with different cultures are not fit to be humans. Now you're saying that people that don't know the language are. Go away, bigot.

Your only argument is:

Obviously you can't even defend your own position, so you just resort to what you do best, act like an immature 4 year old.

I don't believe you

omg, do you want me to scan and upload my passport, driver's license, social security card, credit cards, and me holding a picture of this screen printed out??? i will do all sorts of sane things to prove myself to you!!!
