Naw, we heading for the movie Idiocracy with the current POTUS.

Nope, we were headed towards idiocracy a loooooong time ago ever since we put in a tax system that rewards stupid people for reproducing and punishes intelligent people.

What you get is one side having 3-8 kids, and the other side having 0-2... and it keeps getting closer to 0.

It's not about being gullible, it's about choosing the least dangerous candidate in an unfortunate situation.

which any Trump voter completely failed to do. As evidenced by, well, brains.

Doesn't seem like an unreasonable move. A bit on the overly PC side but nothing to write home about I'd say.

I'll admit, I don't see the big deal as long as they paid him for the day. It's incredibly stupid, but it's overall meaningless.

Anyone who thinks that having Robert Lee announce a university ball game in Virginia would lead to anything good for ESPN, the announcer, the University and the state of Virginia considering the context is a moron.
That outcome is predictable.
What's also predicable is the short attention span of the outrage seeking idiots who are making a big deal over ESPN's decision.

Also, Clay Travis. Renowned asshole. Seems some info is pointing to Lee being assigned to the Pitt game over a week ago. Apparently he typically handles low level ESPN games in midwest or upstate NY. Sometimes Pitt or YSU. So, UVA is outside his "area" as well. Might be a hoax.

you think they would have gotten more negative attention than what they're getting now?

I added the asian-american part myself to better reflect the absurdity, because democracy dies in darkness.

Agreed. Frankly, the people that should be insulted by this are those on the left.
For a centrist at least the logic was definitely there, with Hillary as president the antifa scum and other leftist bigots would've been congratulated for instigating violence instead of being criticized and the hypocrisy would've been even more rampant than it already is. Now as much of an asshole Trump is, at least with him the entire world will always be on watch whenever he'll try to pull something really stupid and call him on it.

In contrast to their nazi/klan gop colleagues who crash cars into crowds, this is the real outrage.

Yeah okay, let's agree to disagree here.

this isn't an agree to disagree issue. Trump is clearly, indisputably, by any rational observation and tolerable metric, far more dangerous to this country than Hillary Clinton. It isn't even arguable. it's a non-starter. FFS: far more than half of his most irrational supporters proudly admit that they support the guy because he is a threat to the order of this country. That he is dangerous.

pretty much

very likely, yes. But that is Disney's decision. Stop buying their products instead of bitching about it on the internet if you think it's serious. Maybe this looks stupid, but so would replays of this game with "Robert Lee" plastered over the video as speaking from the booth. LoL, think about it. The race of the guy has nothing to do with it, because you aren't watching this guy. It's all about optics, and whether or not they guessed wrong here, they made a decision to avoid that potential outcome.

While I don't disregard the irrationality of many of his supporters, it's true that the current "order of the country" is in a precarious situation and the neo-liberalism and PC culture needs to be stopped at any cost before it's too late. And indeed Trump could become dangerous, but not in today's climate where the entire world watches him closely.

Worth mentioning this totally-not-conservative pretends to be some kind of democrat put off by how centrist democrats are.

Ah, little agent 00fvcktard making false associations again. So cute. No colleagues of mine, little boy. I'm also not outraged. I'm just laughing at how stupid people are when they go to such idiotic measures to protect the tender feelings of pantie-wetters.

Now run along and find somebody with a haircut that you don't like and punch them like a good little antifa thug.

No. I'm merely stating an opinion with which you happen to disagree. I'm perfectly content to let you vomit out your imbecility in the hopes that others will see it and choose a better path. I have no wish to commit vandalism or any other form of intimidation / violence to shut you up like the true triggered snowflakes do.

My serious hope for you is that you grow up and stop hating those with whom you disagree.

No, conservatives are just easily triggered whenever they're associated with conservatism.

therefore, Nazis. Thanks, shitface. clearly, Trump is far far far far more dangerous than any Clinton. This is obvious. "neo-liberalism" whatever this is, is no threat to you or to me. Nazis are. PC culture is not a threat to the fabric of this country. Maybe it keeps you up at night, but it doesn't really affect you. Nazis do.
