No. When you get the discs it has a cd key, you enter that on esets site and it gives you a login and pass that you enter into the program for updates. I use nod32 on 4 comps at home, good program

They had this deal last year and I picked up a copy for around $20. I was able to install it on all 3 of my systems without any issue. Always updated the definitions without any problems.

My license jsut expired so this is a heck of a deal. 🙂

I'd like to know the same thing. Not been happy with Norton for a while now, and have 6 pc's in the house, and would buy a couple of copies if i could install it on more than one pc

Actually, if you look at multiple independent AV comparatives from roughly Q2/2007 to present, NOD32 has trended downward in the rankings and is frequently bested by products like AVG, AntiVir, Bit Defender, and even Norton, though none of them consistently beats NOD32. Norton has considerably improved in the past two versions, particularly v2008.

I repeat, I'm not talking about one comparative snap-shot, but multiple comparatives over time. NOD32 is still a good product, just not as consistently good as it used to be.
