They want to control the narrative, but they are only reaching those already drinking the kool-aid = waste of time. It is over, the only thing left is to engage in election fuckery, and hope those riots, do not make these look like a warm up. Because I have election fuckery on my Apocalypse bingo card. I can't say November, because who knows how long they will delay it; days before the required legal surrender of the office?

in regards to all the looting, Donny says they are just practising freedom

Cops have been shooting rubber bullets and pepper spraying people while singing team america. They have been throwing up white power signs while their buddies shout support. Violating civil rights, trashing their own cars to make it look like looters did it. the list goes on. The fallout will be epic.

good thing a lot of people in city offices were already working from home

that prevents the economy from being affected as much by this

and is yet another reason why companies will probably start to transition office jobs to full-time remote jobs

i know that if my office job went remote permanently, i would buy a house in the middle of nowhere

What we are seeing is the ugly side of law enforcement. Many of the police who are out there are probably pissed off. This is how ugly shit happens. Go read about the war crimes that happened during Vietnam, WW2, Korean War. And, as this continues to play out my guess is the police will take a more aggressive stance. Also, they still hold the power. They could walk away as a group and the city they are protecting would be screwed. Not condoning their actions. Just trying to understand better. Tensions tend to flare. I don't care how much training you've had. People make bad decisions when they're stressed.

Make sure it is some place with good internet, most rural areas do not have it.

This isn't the first time we have seen this, where some racist POS drives through protesters. To put it in context, what's next, strapping bombs to their chests then mingling?

You guys do realize that blocking interstate highways... IS. NOT. LEGAL.

It doesn't matter if you're protesting. Hell - even if it's a legal protest where you received permits, etc... NO permit in the world will allow you to block an interstate highway. PERIOD.

Wait until you're the one in an ambulance that is trying to get to the hospital with COVID-19 but you're stuck because "protesters" blocked cars.

This is just like looting smart one - Protesting is absolutely fine. THIS ISNT PROTESTING.

Clarify what you are ranting about. Are you saying what he did was justifiable? That you support his actions? Because legal or not, taking violent, illegal action, against non violent protesters, is not justifiable.

Obviously a bunch of people blocking a highway need to be run down by a truck.

true, i have zero sympathy for people who block highways

still, i wouldn't be stupid enough to barrel at them with a truck.

just gotta stop way back and wait until the crowd disperses. or if the driver was smart he would have taken a huge detour around the city.

This is protesting. This is what protesting looks like when you ignore the peaceful protests. This is what protesting looks like when justice is not had.
This is what protests look like when people get angry and frustrated.
You want civil protests? Then demand civil discourse.

But that is not what you really want, what you really want is to be able to ignore it like you have every other time.
That is why they are breaking the law, because until you feel uncomfortable enough you will simply ignore them.

Jumping on top of cars and smashing out windows is peaceful? Bud you guys have a sick and warped sense of reality.

I SINCERELY hope it happens to you, and would love to see the look on your face

La de da da - just a normal day in the world, glass shattering all around me in my car. Definitely not scared.

Depends on what they protesting for. If the are protesting so they can get a hair cut while carrying a surrogate penis its totally cool to shut down a highway. Those are patriots protesting for their rights to be served by the poors. If its the poors protesting to not be killed by authorities that is illegal as fuck and the tanker truck driver was just enforcing his right to use the road.

Look who tried to dodge the question he was asked and you wonder why people here think you're dishonest.
