Your friend could easily think that he made off like a bandit by trading a 3 generations old gaming PC for current day hardware.
Eh. Calling a Wii "current day hardware" is a stretch. It's only "current" because a successor hasn't come out.

If the OP wasn't really using the Wii, and filled a need by trading it, I'd say that's a good enough reason to call it a good trade. "Epic win" is a stretch.

They might not be bleeding edge tech but as they are still in the shops and selling more units than either sony or microsoft would want i see no problem calling them "current day hardware"

its called relabeling outdated technology and selling it. its the best way to sell old stuff:D

plus that motion control stuff is an extreme gimmick

Until there is a newer generation out and games are no longer being developed for the wii, it is current day hardware.

ok fine. its current day hardware that cannot keep up with current day standards.

i would rather have NOT current day hardware that keeps up with current day standards (XPS600)

than have current day hardware that does NOT keep up with current day standards (Wii)

Adunno if it's epic trade win territory, new Wii is what $150? That build I'd pay say $100 tops if I needed it, so a used Wii for that build seems fair but not epic :)

I have a wii. it sucks. it sits in the corner of the room and gathers dust. that pc...would also sit in the corner because this piece of crap is better than that one

Build her a PC and then after a while, say like
"Hey, honey, you havent used that Wii in a while and you spend all your time on the computer. Want to just sell it?"

my idea :D
