i didn't see what was so special about it. though i've seen cats fight many times. Magpies are sometimes attracted to the sway of a cats tail, Their also well known for attacking cats in general.
Theres actually nothing here unusual other than there happens to be another cat that came into it at the same time the birds were antagonizing the cat...which magpies often do as they are very protective and cats often fight each other as well

agree.

I finally watched the newly-posted links. no idea what is so special or amazing about two cats fighting, and some clever birds entertaining themselves over this?

the birds were instigating the fight

how?

All I get is that the other cat was off-frame at the beginning, they were probably fighting before the clip begins.

I just don't see that in the video. Cats don't really need to be encouraged to fight each other.

Saw it with some music that synced PERFECTLY, like it was out-right composed for it, on another forum.

"New research has shown that they are among the most intelligent animals on the planet. They use tools as only elephants and chimpanzees do, and recognize 250 distinct calls. One particular talent they have been discovered to possess is the ability to recognize individual human faces and pick them out of a crowd up to two years later – a trick that might make even Hitchcock shiver with fright."

I had a little Siamese cat that a huge crow that lived in a big redwood near my house would mess with sometimes. He would sit in his branch and squack down at the cat, and mock swoop it trying to intimidate it. One day he was sitting on the road getting a drink of water and my cat snuck up on him and jumped him. The crow was bigger than her and managed to shrug her off and escape to his tree. Once he realized that this little cat had jumped him he literally wouldn't leave the cat alone. Every time the crow was around and the cat was out in the open the crow would mess with the cat, constantly diving at it and cawing at her. I really didn't know an animal could hold a grudge, but that crow had a serious one that didn't let up until we moved.
