I liked Jake 2.0 even though I was telling everyone it looked like a joke. Reminds of of billion dollar man. Even had that bionic sound going. Did anyone else think his crush was about to pull out a gun on him at any point?

Oh well, at least it wasn't George Lucas bad with the T Pol line.

"I don't like sand its hard and hurts unlike you you are soft and nice or something to that effect." Poor Lucas

I missed the firsat damn 20 minutes, because my program guide on Tivo said "Sign Off", so even though it was broadcast, it didn't record till I came home and saw it!
Does ANYONE have a link where I can get it? Tried a search , in a usual place.

That line was pure ass.

I'm watching it now, and about a half hour into it I'd say it's pretty good! 🙂 I've never watched a full episode of Enterprise before, but I think I might start.

I liked this episode. It went back to the roots of the gritty first contacts. I guess they weren't kidding on the sexuality being ramped up. And that sniper scene with the rescue was pretty cool.

Just saw the sniper scene. These guys could kick the 24th century guys' asses any day of the week.

I also like the fact that they're putting more of the budget into the aliens. They're more than just people in goofy clothes with prosthetic foreheads. I liked the insect, particularly, and I also like the fact that they're talking in their own languages in some cases (a la Star Wars). Archer is reminding me more and more of Captain Sheridan from Babylon 5, which is a good thing. (But he's not quite there yet.)

Just saw Jake 2.0 and it was actually pretty good. Unfortunately it kind of seems like 7 Days, in that it's just a vehicle for the main star...hopefully it'll be better than that.

Yeah, the sniper scene was cool. Reminded me of sniping in a FPS.

I hope they don't carry on this plot line forever. Star Trek isn't about war and vengeance, it's about exploration. A few episodes will be fine, but I don't want to spend all of season three with the now military staffed Enterprise interrogating people and searching for weapons.

we saw plenty of exploration in the other treks... this still would be exploration but with an underlying goal to make it more interesting

anyway looks like they made the aliens look more original, for the trek universe anyway

I liked it. I read that they were going to make it sexier and more action packed this season (I liked it fine last season, but, more is probably better).

Last night, for example, with the t'pol topless scene. No complaints about nudity... it's good... even PG nudity. However, I don't see a logical reason why she removed her top completely to have her neck massaged... especially when it came off on the back anyway. Oh well, the end result was good, but obvious they wanted to show her rack that episode w/ or w/o a reason.

😀

Sure it was about exploration when Captain Kirk came around....who knows what it was before that. 🙂

same here. i wanna see what they do with this star trek. nothing can beat TNG though

i hope they dont take enterprise in the same direction as andromeda...that show's more like a cheap sci-fi soap opera.

I thought the 1st series on Andromeda was really good, from then on it left me thinking "what an enourmous steaming pile of ****"

I'm glad they are carrying on with Enterprise, I really like it....

They are more focused on military encounters yeah but think about it, this is Starfleet, there is no federation so it is just like having a global military type force out exploring space....

That's how I feel. I was like "WTF, this isn't Star Trek. They're turning it into some pop culture crap."

i really liked this episode! i hope i get a chance to watch it every wed. wanna see where it goes. that "evil" council thing caught my attention. why is there a coucil of people out to get the humans? and who is that person from the future? hmm...although i like the episode format of TNG, i think a series format might be interesting. the story will be able to be more deep. lets see....

This thing is with enterprise is people are expecting it to be too much like TNG, DS9 etc....when the writers are clearly going for a different direction, so even if it only does half as well as the others....it doesn't really matter...I see it as a seperate entity series while still using the star trek timeline.

Share the wealth, someone with an FTP site help a brother out. I was out last night. It comes on here again Saturday at 11:00 pm but would not mind a vcd.

Overnight ratings are 4.4/7

While an improvement, its still down ~10% from Season 2's opener. Calling any ATer's with access to a Nielson box.

Episode better in some ways than I expected but worse in others.

T'pol got hotter because of her hair and makeup looking more real and her uniforms more flattering to her figure IMHO. Love the ears. Hottest scene with her yet, even better than the one with her and the Doc.

Too bad she just got married in real life.
