Not sure what your story has to do with anything but pulling a gun because someone spit on your car is a little extreme don't you think? What were you going to do? Shoot the guy on the motorcycle because he kicked someone's car?

You pull your gun and escalate, then the other guy pulls his gun and escalates, and in a matter of seconds you have people shooting at each other over a minor traffic infraction.

No, I'm not feeling sorry for either of these idiots. Fuck them both.

In my story, the idiot on the motorcycle was using his vehicle as a weapon to harm others. Specifically causing people to crash and run off the road. Spitting is one thing, injuring others or causing their death is another. That is what the idiot in my story was doing and I was tempted to do something to stop him beyond calling 911. Lucky after he causes a couple wrecks he sped off so I didn't have to make that decision anymore.

You are an idiot if you think that just because someone pulls a gun to defend themselves from an unprovoked attack by someone else that the act of defending their lives with a firearm is a douchebag action.

I was tempted to when he was trying to run me off the road. Almost did run his ass over instead. Just didn't want to be without a vehicle for work for awhile.

That exact thing happened here just a couple months ago. Driver chased down motorcyclist and ran him over for kicking his car. Motorcyclist went to the hospital with serious injuries, driver of the car went to jail.

Not attacking you, just making a point. The guy in your avatar killed the people that killed him (and his girlfriend). Doesn't mean it's good that he died...weak comparison but still.

Absolutely correct. Mr Taurus thought he would just have an easy murder. Not so easy.

I agree that violent crime rate per 100,000 pop. would on average decrease when more people are armed and able to defend themselves against criminals.

Stated another way, lawful citizens armed with guns is a downward factor in crime rates per population.

Given that, I also believe that rh71 is a mouth breathing idiot skirting the borderline of clinical mental disability for using the phrase "would never happen" given the subject.
