Yeah i did attempt to signup thru there also, but i get the ack error too.

That because we aren't subscribers though, so of course that doesn't work.

It seems a bunch of us missed it.

Im not a paying subscriber. Start over from fileplanet.com and go through those steps again.

after the "ack" thing you still have to enter a verification key so you shouldnt be able to get in without getting past the ack page

Edit: I got a few of the ack pages before I was able to get my key so keep trying!

make sure its the email you used originally to sign up for fileplanet or gamespy.
I checked the one they have you sign up for name , email and it didnt go there.
It went to the original one thats on file i guess

Try a different browser? Maybe one of your plugins is interfering, their site seemed keyed to IE 6/7.

Woot! I got my key. I must have gotten 100+ of those ack errors before getting through to the verification page. Don't give up people. Keep on trying.

Took me forever to get a key.

Keep trying I had the same errors as all of you with the servers.

BTW: Find a torrent on the client if you don't want to wait for FP to download it
