Endurance race events

How about competition racing events? I really didn't want to include miscellaneous events, but if the majority would like it then I'll do it.
 
I would classify the 5K as a speed endurance event but not really a true endurance event.
I would say 10K and over are endurance events.

 
if you're on a track team in college and you run the 5K, you are totally and unequivocally an endurance/distance guy. It may not be in the same vein as a marathon, but any race that takes longer than a few minutes to run is, by classical definition, considered endurance. And considering that elite 5Kers run just as mileage as elite marathoners, I would say a 5k still counts.
