try putting the whole command line in quotation marks "c:\program files\...bf2.exe +menu 1 +.... +szy 1024"

I've been quiet about this, but I've tried adding this to the shortcut but I have yet to get 1280x1024. I've been stuck with my non-native resolution and I'm kind of pissed at the game makers that such a standard resolution isn't naturally in the options. Back to playing at 1280 x 9xx on a 1280x1024 LCD...I play this game yet it pisses me off a lot. Why??
I wouldn't call that standard... 1024/1280 = a ratio of .8. Almost all other resolutions (640, 800, 1024, 1280x960, 1600, and so on) have a ratio of .75.Originally posted by: MangoTBG

after adding it to the shortcut, you need to re-boot. it doesn't show as an option in the game control menu, it just defaults to that rez.
