Some white dude gone nut because the Bucs are 0-4?

OP, just in case you are on TV, make sure make a sign that says "ATOT rocks" so we know who you are.

So, was the guy going to attack people with his puppy dog? Perhaps he assumed nobody would the gun if he also carried a puppy? Strange.

Anyway, glad you are ok and it's getting cleaned up.

Sounds to me like someone's twisted perspective on "not going out alone" or "not leaving the only thing that loves me behind".

"All clear. Resume normal activities. Avoid police activity on Holly near Parking Services."

Yay. I still have ONE of my classes to go to today!

Yet another idiot with a gun on campus. American spree shooters need to do something more creative, this is getting boring.

Hope you're alright slugg, keep us posted.

What we need is a law banning guns in schools. That should solve the problem.

Glad to hear that you're ok, and hopefully everyone else on campus too.

Probably someone legally carrying and students/school officials/the police completely freaked out for no reason.

Or not. Who knows.

Helicopters are flying around right now and there are many sirens on and off. The campus police have been sending out text messaged with updates periodically. Each update is periodically worse.

Who knows, we might be on the news tonight? I hope it's not a re-run of Virginia Tech.

University of South Florida, Tampa.

That is crazy. I'm a USF alum.

This reminds me of the text message notification service my university had. When I lived off campus, every once in a while I would get a message about an armed assailant on campus. It really freaked me out the first two times they did it in two years. The three or four times afterwards, not so much.

Massecres always happen in the places where guns are restricted and the shooter doesn't have to worry that the victims might be shooting back.

If the right to bear arms can be suspended in certain public places, what other "rights" can our government arbitrarily suspend?

So the Virginia Tech gunman (and others) was so worried others might shoot him he killed himself? Yay for more guns!

go protect the sorority girls, granted a sorority house makes you 10000x more likely to get killed but it'll be worth it.
