The waters have always been muddy. I am sorry that the problem may not have an easy solution. The simple solution is wrong though. You want to help them, but the clothing is merely a symbol of the underlying problem. If the symbol goes away, it might make you feel better because you don't see the symptom as clearly anymore, but you have not solved the problem. Furthermore, it is also clearly hypocritical to try to save women from men who control them, by controlling them yourself. You might make the argument that you are a better person to be doing the controlling, but that still leaves them as a second class citizen who has to be controlled for their own good.

Israel is irrelevant. It is a lightening rod used by the Muslim world to protect their war crimes while also keeping their populations subjugated. I.e, to busy protesting Israel than demanding equal rights.

In egypt, 2/3 of the population live on less than 2 dollars a day. There is more poverty in Cairo than in any inch of Gaza.

And yet, when polled - Egyptians are more frustrated with Israel/Palestine relations than their own domestic flaws...which should take precedence in any normal country.

Liberals and far-leftists spend a lot of effort linking the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to general Muslim misery...this is the result of billions spent by Saudi Arabia to influence immature, Western liberal dumbfucks to excuse and justified their hated as some moral reaction to Israel's oppression of Palestinians, blah blah blah...

Then I logically pointed out Israel is merely a lightening rod. You know what that is?

And, why universities dedicate a disproportionate level of funding earmarked for Middle East studies - which almost always mean Israel.
