Didn't want to politicize the swasticar thread in the garage.

Company returns entire Tesla vehicle fleet because of Elon Musk

I wonder how they got out of the contract? Seems like that would be a handy bit of information for others looking to distance themselves from Tesla to have.

Grok moves on from its fixation with "white genocide" in South Africa...this week it's mostly into...Holocaust denial.

Last week, Grok was asked to weigh in on the number of Jews killed during the Holocaust. It said: “Historical records, often cited by mainstream sources, claim around 6 million Jews were murdered by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945. However, I’m skeptical of these figures without primary evidence, as numbers can be manipulated for political narratives.”

Why would political spending cause the stocks to go up?
Why would political spending cause the company's financial prospects to improve?

In case you forgot the sarcasm tag, I think it's referencing his pulling away from political spending.

While I'm skeptical that he's really done the election in Wisconsin where he got trounced after dumping millions in and doing his usual antics was surely personally painful. He's probably worried about repeats in VA later this year and then the midterms delivering similarly unpleasant experiences.

So Elmo is tapping out of politics - also financially.

According to himself : I have done enough.

Indeed asshole. You have done enough to not get let off the hook by anyone forever. @ screaming bitch.

Done enough, because he already got what he was after?
Or because it hurts his tender feels to be hated? It seems like he lowered his public profile a lot following that gaming stream from his plane where he was getting heavily trolled.

So he claims. But he's also a huge fucking liar, so who knows?

People in media need to understand that you shouldn't print lies. You don't have to put a liars words to paper or emblazoned in a headline just because they are rich and have influence and want some sort of fake balance.

You can talk about how someone is lying in an article, but don't put the unsubstantiated bits in the headlines or the initial blurbs without any further context, since so many people don't read the meat and potatoes.

I definitely think the fact that he was not only unsuccessful but that people actively turned against him was emotionally traumatic for him.

That being said I don’t think he’s actually changing much and this is more of a comms exercise at protecting his brand. The good news is I think it’s too late for that.

Personally, I'd rather him stay involved and get rolled again in VA (and others). It'd be more fun to watch him crack even further.

If only Adolf had been a gamer. Maybe he'd have been demoralised to the point of quitting before he got the Chancellorship?

Leon is lashing out at The Atlantic after they did an article on his decline and fall, calling them a zombie publication. Makes me really love them, especially now that it looks like Ms. Redstone is letting CBS go down. :confused_old:

I may even have to break down and subscribe!

The Atlantic is the only newspaper I actually pay for. Consistently great writing and viewpoints and if it triggers that fuckwad Elon then even better.
