Yep. As an ECO Diesel owner.

It's too bad...really loved the Renegade design, fit into the city parking spots just fine, got through all the snow perfectly, but spent 70 days in the shop in just 2 year's of ownership (purchased new). The newer ones are totally fine...I just didn't know not to buy new-new stuff lol.

I was hoping the Cybertruck would be a good fit...no sparkplugs or gas, no paint, 500-mile battery. Ah well.

Diesel is just too dirty. But then other automakers have been caught falsifying emissions/fuel economy data.

copy pasta

As of March 2017, 38 out of 40 diesel cars of all brands tested by ADAC failed a NOx-test based on government standards.[413]

Beyond exclusively diesel or passenger vehicles, automakers such as: Hino[414] (subsidiary of Toyota), Hyundai and Kia,[415] Nissan,[416] Mazda, Yamaha Motors, Suzuki,[417] Subaru,[418] and others have been proven to be falsifying fuel economy or emissions on non-diesel powered and/or commercial vehicles.

whoops

Tesla’s monthly sales in Europe plunge by half, signaling backlash against Musk runs deep

Sales of Tesla vehicles in 32 European countries tumbled 49% to 7,261 in April from 14,228 in the same month the previous year, according to the figures released by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, or ACEA.

At the same time, sales of battery-electric vehicles by all manufacturers rose about 28%. Meanwhile, sales of gasoline and diesel powered cars slumped.

The figures, which cover the European Union’s 27 member countries and five other nations outside the bloc, back up early data from Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark released at the start of this month that had pointed to a sales collapse.

When I realized that they were using an EGR system to reduce emissions, I'm like, did you know when you came up with this plan that diesel generates soot, soot which goes back through your dry intake manifold (due to injection directly into the cylinders) and they add another neat curve which are called swirl valves. These things stop working when the soot builds up because there is no way to clean the intake which costs multiple thousands of dollars to replace. I did it because 1 I got a settlement, and 2 have you looked at how much the price of cars are these days?

The current release of AP is phenomenal (from having used it), but will forever be hampered by a lack of LIDAR, especially for road debris, potholes, and inclement weather.

If the Cyber Taxi ever rolls out, I'm VERY curious to see how it handles rain, fog, and snow, especially with no steering wheel for manual override.

Constantly pimping Tesla for some shitty capitalist reason.
Are you heavily invested in tesla?

Nope, no investment in Tesla stock! Keep in mind that this sub-forum is Politics & News. The political discussion involves opinions about things like Musk's behavior; the news aspect involves discussion about things like the market impact of improvements in self-driving technology. Self-driving is a constantly evolving technology; my current thoughts on it are here:

Or this.

Or more broadly, these

Even Cadillac dropped their diesel option:

Amid the exterior and interior changes, the powertrain is the same as it's been for years. The 6.2-liter V-8 still burbles in the background, barely noticeable throughout the Caddy’s interior. For that matter, it’s barely noticeable outside as well, concealing its 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque through a bevy of piping and mufflers. The mill still connects to a 10-speed automatic transmission turning the rear wheels, though four-wheel drive is optional on all trim levels except the hi-po Escalade-V, where it’s standard.

Speaking of the V, it still uses the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 making 682 hp and 683 lb.-ft. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the eco-minded 3.0-liter Duramax diesel is now gone from the lineup. Unless you shell out big bucks for the supercharged V, you’ll be living with the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter engine in every Escalade trim level.

In related news, I only recently learned that they make a Suburban RST lol:

Word on the street is that Elon's parting gift is Stephen Miller's wife.

You posted this in the wrong thread

It should go in the schadenfreude one

On a side note Katie is the one at a loss as she probably be with another man who cannot satisfy a woman

It would be darkly funny for the second worst person in America to steal the wife of the first worst person in America.

All while having a non-functioning member.

I mean, the shots that can now be thrown at Baby Goebbels on twitter will be amazing.

Maybe he will lose bladder control.
Well, well, well. That serious abuse, not casual experimentation.

Musk, who was one of the most high-profile surrogates for President Donald Trump on the campaign trail and eventually became a senior adviser to the president, allegedly took so much ketamine that he told friends that it was affecting his bladder. The Times report also says that he was known to take ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms.

Edit: maybe Don and Elon went in on diapers together.
