Does that have anything to do with Musk getting his space boots on Martian soil?
Yes it does.

I don’t use Twitter and other than people posting tweets, I don’t interact with it at all.
How will this impact me?
I think he is suffering from what a lot of engineers (or people who work in engineering) do - they think their knowledge and expertise is a lot more generalizable than it really is.I think Elon is growing progressively more unhinged at the idea that he will never step foot on Mars, and that tons of his assertions and predictions will be proven woefully inaccurate.

Musk’s companies have solved some really impressive engineering problems but Twitter is not an engineering problem, it’s a human behavior problem. I have never gotten an impression from anything he’s done that indicates he is good at solving human behavior problems. Really, the opposite.

A bigger megaphone for the GQP increases odds of GQP Presidency, House and Senate.
That's how it impacts everyone.

You are correct but you know every news outlet is going to have front page articles about every tweet Trump makes, even if it is just covfefe. Musk buying Twitter is bad for the United States and bad for democracy. While in reality you are correct, the truth is that it’s a megaphone if we allow it to be one. I’m not concerned with a bunch of trolls and bubble dwellers circle jerking, what concerns me is when the media repeats and amplifies it. Without the media, trumps tweets would have just been farts in the wind or more shit for the sewer.

Musk’s rockets could easily get his corpse to Mars relatively quickly.

Don't worry, we'll quickly see Elon didn't really mean he wanted unabridged free speech.Maybe Twitter will become more of an Elon hate space now.
IMO the internet has far more capacity to troll Elon than it’s currently utilizing.
Really? Besides Trump in the oval 2024?I don’t use Twitter and other than people posting tweets, I don’t interact with it at all.

And this will be how we burn it to the ground.Don't worry, we'll quickly see Elon didn't really mean he wanted unabridged free speech.
I'll bet that Twitter's engagement numbers will go back up after Elon lets Trump back on the platform. Everyone's favorite villain will be back to hate reply to!
aren’t the ONLY hard part. They might even be able to get him there alive and bring his corpse back after a couple months once he learns that rockets aren’t the hard part.

'turn into a shit show'??! I usually can't read more than a few posts down on 80% of the threads I follow before some *sshat starts babbling about some BS vaguely related to the thread in question. Then the thread goes to hell. Heck, even on thread from people I follow for coverage of the conflict in Ukraine, wind up with some Russian parrot tossing out nonesense in relatively short order. Technical threads are typically better. This will be an interesting exercise in "free speech".
Either Twitter turns into a shit show, or moderation is kept in place, in which case, the new boss is same as the old boss.
