I bet you eat it plain too. Go back to your prunes old man.

I'm not old enough to need to eat prunes to crap in a crappy thread but that guy taught Rocky how to fight, he will still kick you off his lawn, little lawnboy.

How much does that cost, $8.99 a box?
Ha! Less than $4 at the store, although online resellers list it for much more. Sucks if you don't have a Trader Joe's nearby.

It's like Honey Bunches, without the cardboard fillers.

I haven't eaten box cereal since I was a kid.

The only nutritious part of it was the milk.

Oatmeal is the only acceptable breakfast cereal for anyone over the age of 8.

Few things beat Raisin Bran to get things moving along.

I hate to break it to you but it's basically the same shit just a different fruit.
Eh, yeah for the most part, but it's just a mental thing with the Blueberry cereal. I could probably handle it if I tried it now since it's been so long though.

I've always eaten some type of cereal but it's not easy finding something that isn't chock full of sugar (even the so called healthy ones) and tastes half-way decent. I couldn't stomach any of the cereals listed in the review. I try to stick with something that has less than 6 grams of sugar per serving.

What is really amazing is the actual serving size, my guess is people eat 2-4 servings easy which means that 12G of sugar per serving is much, much more for the avg. person. I weighed a portion out today and it's tiny.

This is something that becomes very apparent when you count calories. I've been counting for just about 5 months without missing a day. I eat Mini-wheats every morning with skim milk. One serving of mini-wheats and one serving of skim milk is ~390 calories, give or take my memory. But mini-wheats have a serving size of 21 biscuits. I have counted them by hand enough times that I can eyeball it reasonably well, but 21 biscuits is NOT a lot of biscuits. If I didn't count, I'd be eating 2.5 - 3x serving size without even thinking about it.

Interestingly, one serving as noted above is enough to fill me from breakfast - about 6:30 AM until I start getting hungry around 11 or so. But I have an office job so I don't burn many cals during the day.

Kaboom was my probably my favorite as a kid (this looks like a box from that era ... try to find the word "sugary" on the front of a cereal box today). I've always had a thing for oat cereals. Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, Apple Jacks were all in heavy rotation.

Nowadays, for no sugar at all (and a nice healthy colon), Shredded Wheat'n Bran:

But Cheerios is a constant. There is always a box of Cheerios in the cupboard:

I've grown to really love this granola. Great as a breakfast cereal with milk, but usually it's mixed into plain Greek yogurt:

No Quisp?

Worst review/ranking ever.

Oh, Quisp is a very tasty cereal indeed.

That was a mistake I won't make again. Once bought a box of that Kashi and a while after having my first Jethro-sized bowl, the interior plumbing started with the "Oh, hell no" rumblings that were my colon's way of telling me "stop eating shredded tree bark, we ain't putting up with that." Painful it was.

No fans of Quarry? Loaded with minerals!
